Callum McGregor gave an impassioned message to some hospitality guests following Saturday’s Glasgow Derby.
The skipper was in inspired form as he drove his side to victory, helped out by a well balanced midfield where Paulo Bernardo and Matt O’Riley also hit top form.
In a massive mismatch Todd Cantwell was given the task of cancelling out McGregor’s effectiveness, a challenge that the Celtic captain took on with relish with TikTok substituted to ironic cheers midway through the second half.

Pre-match there was the usual hype coming from Ibrox with no lessons learned from a year of misery in the Glasgow derby broken only by a Dead Rubber Cup victory masterminded by the Brains Behind Gerrard.
Celtic returned to Ibrox in September, winning in front of the raging natives, finishing the match with a back four of Tony Ralston, Gus Lagerbielke, Liam Scales and Alexandro Bernabei.
Even with a ‘proper Rangers manager’ in the dug-out the visitors were no match for Celtic, McGregor controlled the midfield, setting the tone with Kyogo Furuhasi bringing the only moment of quality to the match, a fact acknowledged by Clement amid the usual bluster and paranoia that comes out of the losing camp.
A different choice of words would’ve been better Calum. But what a performance.
Cal-Mac – He floats ma boat… He makes all The Sevco Huns (Sea) Sick !
Sorry, don’t like that, respect should always be given to the opposition, who may use this.
If Sevco hadn’t played anyone yet, it’s admitting how bad our results against the other SPFL teams were. Leave this language to Sevco, mistake Calum.
And -;
“And They Gave Us Tavernier, Goldson ans Souttar”!
For the Last Twenty Minutes!
As well!
