It seems that time is fast running out on Todd Cantwell as more and more bears realise that Chris Sutton was right to call out the social media addict.

The former Norwich starlet appears to have taken the criticism for Saturday’s no-show to heart with no social media appearances since he suffered the humiliation of being substituted by Kieran Dowell.

About the only bright spot from the day was the sporting applause that he received from 60,000 fans, grateful for the entertainment he has provided over 11 months of complete failure.

Unfortunately there are signs that Philippe Clement isn’t a fan of TikTok, there was the substitution after 35 minutes of the Europa League draw with ARIS. On Saturday the light footed playmaker was the first for the hook after chasing the shadow of Callum McGregor.

Almost from day one Sutton doubted the mentality of a player who never developed out of the promising teenager stage, typically he was soon be talked up as a £20m superstar after a few step-overs and show-reels gave the Gullible & Deluded hope for trophy times ahead.

Before he releases his next dancing video or profound, deep and meaningful statement about bouncing back stronger or defying the doubters and haters Cantwell really ought to produce a performance or two on the park rather than tantrums or disappearing acts.

Maybe sevco should invest in better recruiting resources…? 🙂

You can have all the skill in the world, but if you don’t have the

heart on the pitch, then you’re just no good to any team.

It would seem that a lack of fight and mental strength have always been

Cantwell’s main limitation as a professional?

I did focus on Cantwell during the game and even his body language

off the ball was negative / disinterested, with minimal movement.

At amateur level you’d get a bollocking for that behaviour.

In saying that, I do hope Cantwell remains a first team starter,

and is offered a contract extension at ibrox! 🙂
