After just seven painful matches Sunderland fans have already sussed out their new manager with #BEALEOUT trending last night on Twitter.
Hull City won 1-0 at the Stadium of Light with the frustrations and anger of the fans obvious to all as they watch the promise of the squad and challenge built up by Tony Mowbray quickly being dismantled by the Brains Behind Gerrard.
Any Board of Directors or CEO that thought Beale had learned anything positive from being the rookie that ran away from one job after 21 matches then splashed out £14m on Danilo, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers weren’t paying attention.
To sit down and interview Beale, ask some searching questions and conclude, like Douglas Park did, that you are dealing with one of the brightest young coaches in the UK is mind blowing.
Sacked in the morning. #Bealeout

Hull suffered the embarrassment of losing at home to Sunderland on December 26 but Leroy Rosenior learned his lessons and picked off Beale’s side last night despite being without nine members of their first team squad.
This time round there are no helpful decisions from Nick Walsh, Willie Collum or John Beaton to sooth Beale into the management, there are at least a dozen sides in the Championship with realistic hopes of getting promotion or at least into the Play Offs. Going on recent performances and results Sunderland are already slipping out of contention.
Telling a dressing room full of seasoned pros about the friends you made in Brazil or how you personally identified and developed every player to come through the ranks at Chelsea and Liverpool won’t wash at Sunderland.
All the fings that Beale finks about won’t extend his stay in this job, he can’t fall back on being the Brains Behind Gerrard or supping pints with the bears in the Loudon Tavern.
At Ibrox he blagged his way through 10 months with mind numbing anti-football, promising the punters a brave new world built around the myths that are Nico Raskin and Todd Cantwell.
Ten games at Sunderland looks like a stretch with Stoke away next up for the biggest chancer to hit the city since Martin Bain was appointed as CEO.
After Sunderland Beale is assured of the warmest of welcomes when he joins Kenny Macintyre and the lads on BBC Scotland to discuss his brilliant career, especially hiding behind Gerrard and Gary McAllister arranging the bibs and cones at Murray Park.
Club statement immediately. Biggest managerial mistake since Parkinson. Won’t be back until he’s gone. We’ve regressed completely. Beale out.

He’s looking like the car crash that we all saw coming when the news broke – Hull offered absolutely nothing & still managed to win. Architects of our own downfall again – the Sunderland way!
— andrew (@andyoots) January 19, 2024
Get this so called manager out of our club immediately. He’s a disgrace!
— TheStevenDouglas (@stevendouglas33) January 19, 2024
Absolutely dreadful ? no idea what the management is trying to do. It’s definitely not working, is it!!!

We’re a pale shadow of last year’s team. Awful summer of transfers, awful managerial appointment and going backwards.

Get him out. pic.twitter.com/Fy5CjHAOAK

All of the sudden the football is boring, tactics poor, I just can’t figure out why ?

BEALE OUT
— Sunderland Limbs (@LimbsSunderland) January 19, 2024
Hull have lost 4 out of their last 5. Hull have not beaten Sunderland in their last 10 in the league.
Hull have not beaten Sunderland since 2014. They have 9 first team players missing.
Up steps Beale ??— Gyittt (@WillRus75218134) January 19, 2024
Feck Sake Time for action against these owners. Killing us by sacking Mowbray, and appointing this spineless Yes man Beale, no money spent and painting our stadium black and white. Good Lord ????
— Buff Egan (@buff_egan) January 19, 2024
I’m not going to be abusive but we know what needs to happen this club is more than cheapness we need a manager to inspire the players if you want to ruin the spirit of the club that we’ve just managed to get back then carry on but if not action is needed ???
— Dwight Davies (@DwightDD64) January 19, 2024
The excitement and connection I had with this squad is rapidly fading away since Beale came in. A young, energetic, exciting team playing like an old pub side, nothing about us whatsoever. All of the good work just being thrown away by a cheap decision in head coach. Get him gone
— Stephen Stubbs (@StephenStubbs5) January 19, 2024
Awful. Clearly the players do not believe in the Beale !! No tempo, taking 1 second too long to make the pass, sounds silly but counts, Jobe out of position and tired, lack of movement up front, even in possession make some runs to make space !!!!!!!!!!! Shocking!!

Ahh x hun managers,,, they’re like buses,, there will be another along soon,,, and he’s a propar wan that can stare,,,
The pot-bellies man in a tracksuit is now being brutally exposed as the impostor we saw right through from the beginning. Were it not for our entirely self-inflicted implosion in the COVID season both those frauds would be unable to land a job as a head coach with a professional football team. Even now Gerrard is employed entirely on the back of his ‘brand’ and celebrity status as a player rather than as a manager. Beale hasn’t got that to fall back on and when the curtain falls at Sunderland, coasting down the leagues and into obscurity most likely beckons.
Football oblivion awaits.
Remember when GVB was sacked the orcs demanded that Beale be brought back to their club and 99% of the Scottish media were hailing the guy as a football mastermind
I presume this is the same Mick Beale whom the SMSM regarded as the equivalent of the ‘second coming ‘ of his time as the Rangers boss ? The greatest thing since bubblegum was the way those scoops held Beale ,saying nothing about the £15 million sovs he spent on injury prone duds still employed in downtown Govanland .Now there is big Pip telling the entire world that the Rangers are not a ‘wealthy club ! ‘ Oh oh oopsa daisy……20 minute lecture in the tunnel forthe big Belgian methinks .Whodathunkit ?
Beale has kicked the @rse out of his pretensions as a manager,
and will have 2 pay-offs – instead of any silverware – to look back on.
He’s a dafty: his name/brand might be too toxic now to get a
reasonable coaching gig in the UK?
Mibbees joining Gerard in Saudi is his best option…?
