Sky Sports are reporting that Cardiff City have made contact with Celtic over the availability of David Turnbull.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of this season and has mainly been used recently as a substitute by Brendan Rodgers after starting the season ahead of Reo Hatate.
There hasn’t been much talk of a new Celtic deal, back in December Rodgers said that he wouldn’t be losing any sleep over getting a new deal completed.

Celtic paid Motherwell around £3m for Turnbull in August 2020, after initially being left out of Neil Lennon’s plans he broke into the Starting XI in December.
Ange Postecoglou leaned heavily on Turnbull in his first months in charge but a serious hamstring injury in the 2021 League Cup final put him out of action just as Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley were added to the midfield options.
Any discussions over a move to Cardiff will ultimately be down to the player who can move on in the summer as a free agent.
Good luck, think it’s time for a change.
