Doncaster City were formed two years ago by Glasgow born football agent Willie McKay and grabbed headlines by applying to the SFA to take part in the Scottish Cup.
Without their own ground City play their matches at the Welfare Ground in Armthorpe which is also the home of Armthorpe Welfare, this season they are playing in the Central Midlands League North Division.
Doncaster City – Gotta be more honourable than Doncaster Neil for sure !

Was that Charlie celebrating that fabulous opening goal in the LAST EVER Old Firm MATCH?
And Gary Hooper, also in the pic, got one as did Kris Commons in a memorable 3-0 win.
Hail! Hail! The Glasgow Celtic.
Here’s a few cracking Charlie goals with THAT one (mentioned above) just under a minute in of 2 min video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKzm-2sIwP0
Loved the dark humour of the tannoy at the end with The Three Degrees song…
“When will I see you again” –
They should’ve finished it up with – “The twelfth of never” !!!
HaHaHa! Brilliant!
