The Green Brigade has thanked CD Palestino for honouring them with the release of a third kit of green and white hoops. On the club website it is referenced as a Green Brigade shirt.
It really is an incredible act from the side that finished in fourth place in last season’s Chilean league, the equivalent of Kilmarnock in Scotland or Tottenham in the EPL.
Based in the capital of Santiago, CD Palestino had 71,000 followers on Twitter this morning and are bound to gain a few more fans worldwide on the back of their shirt launch.
Thank you to CD Palestino for this humbling tribute to the Celtic support and our special affinity with Palestine.
We wish them luck for the new season in the Chilean Primera Division and Copa Libertadores, as they represent the Palestinian people and cause in South America. https://t.co/ncghrk0oHa

Green and white hoops are one of the most recognised shirts in football with Celtic and Sporting Lisbon the main clubs to use that kit.
Shamrock Rovers and The New Saints of Wales use the same kit but across the world plain tops or stripes dominate with red, blue and black the preferred colours.
The fat slug will choke on his (no doubt free) lunch if he sees this. Go on, choke ya fat git.
Get him and his wean outa Paradise and take the leeching Irishman with him.
Sack the board and replace with Celtic FC supporters.
Whit he said…
It’s died down now, but ut went a bit over top if show support one game I still see in game against St mirren one big Palestinian flag been flown we have a Israel player who have gave us much enjoyment with his goals an assist now people will say but what Israel is doing is wrong I go to see sport watch entrainment and support my team and all who were the hoops so I’m not going to upset my player by flying a flag to the idiot that’s flying the flag at St mirren game fly your flag and your self outside government house ir Israel embassy cause for 90 minutes I just want to watch Celtic in full flight and that means abda in the team some of our away support is brilliant but there is a group that had attach themselves to the Celtic support fir there own a gendar

Yeovil Town and Buckie Thistle are another two to add to the list !
Great to see footy linking clubs together
like this via a mutual cause.
As for flying 1 Palestinian flag in the
away support: that’s wrong.
There should be a large Saltire, a large
Tricolour – and a large Palestinian flag
being waved side by side!
More than just a club. 🙂
Yep – Good point Bob (original)…
I’d go with that –
And it’d give Abada less chance or excuse to feel marginalised…
Although he’s probably terrified the Scottish Football Media picture and report him celebrating a goal with a Palestine flag in the background back to his homeland –
Which the bastards would do in a heartbeat !
Maybe worth sounding out a business relationship with this club.I don’t think we scout South America so much.Could be beneficial for both clubs.
