Celtic’s B team enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Murray Park Starlets in the Glasgow Cup at Lennoxtown today.
The young hoops won the trophy in a 6-5 thriller at Hampden in May but today’s match was very one sided.
Daniel Cummings and Ben Quinn scored around the hour mark to put the home side ahead with the visitors unable to make any impact.

There has been a few sore results this season in the Lowland League but it seems that regular competitive fixtures is benefiting the squad while their Ibrox counterparts play in ‘best v best’ friendlies, whatever that means.
Jude Bonnar put Celtic 3-0 in front in the 54th minute with the only disappointment being that there was no further scoring.
This season’s Glasgow Cup involves just one match against the other four competing clubs, almost certainly today’s opponents will be meeting again later in the season at Hampden in the final.
CELTIC: Clarke, Donovan, Mackenzie, Agbaire, Robertson, Ure, Davidson (Kyle 65), Thomson (McArdle 8), Cummings (Dobbie 65), Bonnar (Turley 77), Quinn.
Subs: Morrison, Osagie, Bonetig

As we do not get coverage of the games it is hard to tell how bad we were to loose 3-0 .
The one fact is that McCallum needs to be replaced and the youth put in a system where they can get regular football.
