As expected the SFA has thrown out Celtic’s appeal against the red card shown to Yang Hyun-jun against Hearts on Sunday.

Equally as predictable a Celtic spokesperson is ‘surprised and disappointed’ at the outcome, a trademark reaction from a club that has been at the back of the bus since July 2012.

Yang’s sending off against Hearts was the combined work of John Beaton and Don Robertson, upholding the appeal would have been a public humiliation to two of the SFA’s leading referees.

No explanation has been given for the judgement, Celtic are expected to brief their favoured media messengers about how upset they are by the decision while hoping to move on from the honest mistakes at Tynecastle.

Two working days after the defeat to Hearts Brendan Rodgers hasn’t been hit with a disrepute charge from the SFA for calling Beaton incompetent.

Living in their own world and accountable to no-one a disrepute charge could be made at any time, no doubt the ‘surprised and disappointed’ template will be back in use whenever Rodgers is charged and punished.

  • Jim Duffy says:

When is our board going to grow a spine, the only reason I can think why our board don’t rock the boat is that SFA SPFL even sevco have got some hold over them.where is Fergus when we need him he would have sorted that shower of masonic cheating bastards out long ago,he made short work of obersturmfurher Jim Farry who thought he was some omnipotent god at the SFA then he come up against ” the bunnet”

I wish to god liewell was like that ,he’s like a shiver waiting to run up someone’s spine ,and golf heed desmond doesn’t give a shit about plebian loyal through and through gullible Celtic supporters who keep on feeding this board all there hard earned cash ,and the shower of charlatans know this.

It will take more than chants banners flags tifos etc to stop the cheating in the Scottish game and to get rid of our hopeless cowardly Tory bastards of a board.

Editor: Since July 2012 and the passing of the Five Way Agreement Celtic have been utterly compromised.

    • The Joker says:

The hold the klan klub have and it’s Celtic by the baws is the 5 Way Agreement nothing else.
Fatso LIEWELL’S fingerprints are all over hence why there is always a constant sponsored silence when even thinking about challenging decisions.
Remember LIEWELL has been quoted as saying he knows nothing of the Agreement never seen it never touched he shites himself big time when sevco flash that in front of his fat face.

  • Bob (original)b says:

    Our CEO is a lawyer.

A grossly remunerated, yet silent-as-a-mouse CEO.

You’d think he would have some legal opinion about the SFA’s

inconsistencies, neglect of duty with officiating, or preferential treatment /

    unfair practices within Scottish football?

Additionally, Nicholson the lawyer is CEO – of a plc.

He has responsibilities – for which he is paid c.£750K per annum.

Now, might be an opportune time for Nicholson to find his voice…?

As a mere, paying punter, I would love to hear his comments.

Editor: Nicholson knows where the skeletons are, he won’t be asking any tricky questions #groomed

  • Stephen says:

The Celtic board have to protect the blue pound, the Celtic customers keep poring the cash in guaranteed so why give a feck, them bonuses won’t pay themselves.

    • Charlie Green says:

The Blue pound thing is a mystery. One renowned blogger states Lawwell said to him it cost the club £5 million when the club playing out of Ibrox got relagated ( The Rangers…International…whatever) .
One league victory will pay for 12 years Blue pound losses so what is the problem? Is it that TV money would also be reduced?
Will the attendance drop considerably in the following years?
Is Lawwell just a Sevco supporter?

Editor: In July 2012 the CEO tied Celtic in to the O** F*** as he reeled from the fear of having to become a stand alone football club.

  • Marty says:

The SFA has shown that they have no regard for any justified criticism of their officials. It is a corrupt organisation needing a wholesale overhaul. Celtic should be driving change from the front rather than making passive remarks about an obvious outcome from a corrupt masonic organisation focused on the success of one club.

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

    When – When – When ? (The Celtic support)…

Never – Never – Never – (The Sevco lovers on the board)…

  • Phelim grehan says:

Take the players off the pitch next incident , focus the football world on the SFA , it’s the only way it’s goin to stop , the stench of corruption is rank , referees not having to say who they supported only happens in Scotland this should be our clubs focus to put pressure on ,

  • Charlie Green says:

    So a Sevco supporter then!
Thought the whole league benefited from their absence since seemingly families from Aberdeen and Dundee United etc. started to come back to support their club in what they perceived to be a healthier and safer atmosphere. Who knows where that could have led? Perhaps glory days again for the Dons and the Arabs.
Much greater support base in general for Scottish football?
Lawwell said Celtic were the only club to lose money. Really does that include the European Championship 40 million/year?
He really has a lot to answer for and along with Chales Green is responsible for any trouble caused by the new club e.g. the trashing of George Square.
Some players have a song, is “We Shall Not Be Moved ” the board’s?

  • Charlie Green says:

Oops! Replying to Ed’s comment to mine in earlier post.

  • Magua says:

The 5WA is in the public domain. This agreement breaches EUFA rules. Any competent CEO in 2012 would have taken this to a court of law. We would have won.

    Hail Hail.
