Maeda reveals another new look

Daizen Maeda has come up with another new look as he complies with orders from his daughter.

For more than two years his shaven head has been a feature of the Celtic side, patrolling up and down the left flack and popping up with the unexpected on a regular basis.

Over the last few weeks things have changed a little, scoring a hat-trick against Livingston in the Scottish Cup against it appeared that he had lost his clippers.

Social media messages suggested that there was a reason behind the new look, the growth continued against St Johnstone on Saturday before it was revealed that his daughter had requested a more traditional look from her Dad.

Now during an international break with Japan he has taken on a blonde look, the sort of presence that Neil Lennon brought to the Celtic midfield when he arrived from Leicester City in 2000.

On the park Japan have World Cup qualifiers home and away against North Korea before Maeda checks in at the Tony Macaroni Arena for his next club assignment.
