Alexandro Bernabei appears to have no regrets over leaving Celtic to join Brazilian side Internacional on a season long loan.

The defender moved to Celtic in the summer of 2022 and appeared to be a decent back up option to Greg Taylor at left-back with the former Kilmarnock defender one of the most reliable performers for Ange Postecoglou.

Under Brendan Rodgers playing time reduced dramatically for the South American who played four consecutive games after the winter break then stepped back as Taylor returned from injury.

Being out of favour in a far off continent can’t be easy, speaking to The Herald about his move to Brazil Bernabei said:

I really wanted to come back and feel what South American football is all about again. Wearing this Internacional shirt gives me a lot of emotion and adrenaline. Knowing what this club means makes me want to get going and make an impression here.

When I heard about Internacional wanting me, I wanted to come here.

When it comes to my football assets, I am fast, I cross the ball well and show a lot of motivation and aggression but you will see that where it matters…on the pitch. I am going to give everything to the cause this season.

Despite having a Celtic contract that runs until May 2027 it is difficult to see any way back for Bernabei while Rodgers remains as manager.

Even with no obvious back-up for Taylor the season long loan move for the Argentinian was sanctioned by the hoops boss with playing Liam Scales or Tony Ralston out of position appearing to be his preference.

Hun hacks at the Daily Record thought they were going to be spending the international break chugging about

A . Sevco being in the Europa Quarter Final

B . Being top of the league

C . Butland getting England call up

So now resorting to print outright lies about what Bernabei said and chugging over big Phils gym workouts

this rag printed a story about a serious assault at a zombie pub after the four nil game last season. the headline said old firm thug fractures man skull. it really is well past time that this gutless mob should not be allowed any access to the club. old firm thug ? that is up there with the west of scotland fans riot at the petrol cup final. scotlands sevco media shame.

Correct Scousebhoy ! – They should never be allowed any access to the club…

But neither should they cross the doors, the iPhones, or the iPads of any self respecting Celtic supporters either in me humble opinion…

Let’s kill the bastards off for once and for all in 2024 !!!

Also, on the Billy Boys Choir’s sports ‘news’ (Ceefax) they quote another hun site, Football Insider, trying to flog Butland for £15 mill., saying “Rangers are willing to accept £15 m for England*** goalkeeper Jack Butland, 31, with interest growing in the Premier League”. Doesn’t matter he’s not even in the English SQUAD, they’ve no named club with “interest” nor that “Rangers” actually died in 2012.
Flogging ‘anyone/everyone’ for big bucks is probably necessary for football’s FSR although that probably doesn’t apply to the new huns as they’re in Scotland!
FFS, North Korea is probably more reliable for news items, or Israel, and ‘Danald’ J Trump.
What TF has happened to Truth on this fukked up planet?

Off topic here but the proverbial can if worms could be getting opened here.

Lol it’s like a vote no confidence in this tory government taking place, only for the public to be told they can carry on until the election comes round,it just wouldn’t happen.

Get Crawford Allen to F**K now, just think of the damage this bigoted klown could cause if he is in charge of the refs for the remaining games of the season, the spite he could inflict on clubs regarding them having voted to get him out.
