Mikey Johnston scored twice yesterday as West Brom turned around a 1-0 half time deficit to a comfortable 4-1 victory away to Huddersfield.
The on loan Celtic winger scored in the 51st and 73rd minutes to cement West Brom’s fifth place in The Championship which has them on coarse for the EPL Play-offs.
Leicester, Leeds, Ipswich and Southampton are competing for the two automatic places but with nine matches left to play West Brom have a five point cushion over Hull City who are in seventh spot.
Without the goals of Johnston- six in 514 minutes across nine matches those positions could at least be reversed with the Irish winger giving the club a lift following his Deadline Day arrival.
Six minutes after the break Johnston steered home the equaliser from six yards out, in the 66th minute his run inside created the third goal for Okay Yohuslu before he ran through one on one to complete the scoring in the 71st minute.
West Brom will be delighted by the impact of their January signing- with Celtic still struggling for impact and consistency from their various wingers Johnston looks like becoming a very solid option when this eventful season comes to a conclusion.

I have been banned for ages, I have no idea why, I have asked him many times why, but just get ignored.
Scousebhoy who is the new your talking about, as curiosity killed the cat.
Another reason why lawwell Jnr. had to go!
What is your point as Johnson had plenty of opportunities but
Simply not good enough and playing at his own level
Or do you suddenly wand Bernabei back as well
We have to remove the dead wood to bring better quality in
Enough of this drivel
