The evidence grows against John Beaton

With the spotlight on John Beaton following his OTT performance at Tynecastle on Sunday a welter of evidence is highlighting the double standards of the Lanarkshire official.

Going back to 2014 when Albion Rovers were denied a Scottish Cup win at Ibrox due to an incredible interpretation of an attack from Bilel Mohsni on the Rovers keeper there has been a pattern to Beaton’s decisions.

Connor Goldson seems to have inherited Mohsni’s immunity in the eyes of the man from the Crown Bar, at the end of last season Aberdeen were the victims as Beaton maintained a run that would eventually reach 74 matches without conceding a penalty in the SPFL.

Starting outside the penalty box, which would result in a red card, Goldson gets hold of Duk and retains that position for about three or our seconds which is a lifetime in football terms.

When one arm doesn’t work, and the Dons forward fails to fall to the ground Goldson uses two arms, around Duk’s waist as he gets into the box, eventually brushing the defender aside.

Beaton watched it all unfold and awarded Aberdeen a corner, he had an assistant with an uninterrupted view of the incident and Steven Kirkland on VAR, all seeing nothing against the Laws of the Game.

Have the Celtic board backed Brendan Rodgers since Tynecastle?

If only as a show of support,

the club should ‘make it known’ that it

does not want either Beaton or Robertson

    anywhere near another CFC game.

BR deserves that from our shamefully, mute Board.

  • harold shand says:

Would anybody be shocked if Rodgers was sitting in the stand at Ibrox

and this f*cking maggot was either the ref or on VAR ?

  • The Joker says:

    • Thomas M Daley says:

Nothing changes, the SFA had no celebration in Glasgow for the first British team to win the European Cup, now if the liquidated rangers had won guess what. Where aged 12 then and watched with my own eyes blatant cheating up to my now 69th year.
Nothing changes you cannot be a touch better than them you need to be way in front.
Liewell and his hoarding of money has brought this about this catastrophic events doing managed decline.
Would keep Rodgers and let him build a team in his image not a team made of the boards projects.

  • Stevie says:

A wee message for the board on Sunday. Back yer manager or GTF.
Has wee Fergus got any weans?

  • the maister says:

Robertson is a daftie. He is incompetent and rumbles along, compromising all the way to the likes of Beaton!
    Beaton is smarter.
He has more brass neck than three brass monkeys!
