It’s fair to say that Chris Sutton won’t be missing his trips to Livingston.
Yesterday the former Celtic striker watched Celtic win 3-0 over David Martindale’s side to return to top spot before they left the Tony Macaroni Arena with even the sponsors parting company with the worst side in the SPFL Premiership.
Ten points adrift of Ross County in the Play Off place, Livingston have won three out of 31 matches with just seven fixtures left to play- it could be a while before Sky Sports pitch up again at the new town.
Very comfortable for Celtic in the end. Great news to see Hatate back and for Carter-Vickers to seemingly come through 90 minutes. Livingston offered very little and I’ll be glad never to see their monstrosity of a pitch in the top flight again… it’s an embarrassment

Thankfully for Celtic the days of dreading a bloody nose on the plastic are fading into the distance, yesterday was their fourth successive victory since a reverse very early in Ange Postecoglou’s reign. A goal difference of 12-1 suggests that the hoops have learned how to master the surface and their opponents.
After a frustrating first half Celtic made an early breakthrough with a freakish goal off the shoulder of Jamie Brandon, the away fans on three sides of the stadium couldn’t have cared less how it got there as long as the ball crossed the line.
Further goals from Paulo Bernardo and Matt O’Riley reflected the balance of play with the bonus of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Reo Hatate both appearing to come through the match unscathed.
After his Sky stint Sutton was on BBC 5 Live with Robbie Savage with all things Livingston cleared from his mind.
Lol why I’d that wee baldy money laundering drug pusher still in that job,he has got to be for the off come te end of the season,teams Ave sacked managers for less than what this fraudster of a so caled manager as Italy with,never a football manager in his life.
Maybe he managed the football team at 5 a side when he was doing time in jail,that’s about his limit.
No doubt there will be a litter earner awaiting him in studios of the BBC and special guest star appearances on the huns podcasts.
The very inconvenient KO time yesterday of 12pm – and on a Sunday –
was imposed by TV for their own purposes.
Yet, you’d think the TV companies themselves might hate plastic pitches,
because I was struggling to even see the ball at times on the TV screen,
especially in the first half.
When the sun was shining off the surface, the white ball just seemed to
disappear.
