At 11.21 today, just over 48 hours before kick-off Celtic posted a picture of Callum McGregor back in training.
It was only a walking image which can be interpreted in various ways but it is the first indicator that the club captain is on course to be involved at Ibrox on Sunday.
McGregor hasn’t played since being substituted at half-time on February 28 during the 7-1 win over Livingston.
An issue with a calf and Achilles has ruled him out of the four Celtic matches since then as well as Scotland’s March friendlies.

How match fit he is is the next question, Brendan Rodgers hosts a media conference at lunchtime today but is unlikely to give away too much.
With Reo Hatate starting against Livingston last week the Celtic boss has some big decisions to make over his midfield for Sunday’s 12 noon kick off.
A better looking image, looking far more involved in training.https://t.co/xA2vCq1YrV

Love him back but not for one game iwaka dosent deserve to be so if not broke I’d be happy iwakahe is good footballer knows his game just can he handle hostile atmosphere Celtic Take a lead hostility will be aimed at there own players every table lost misplaced pass will put enormous pressure on home players
He’s only missed 4 games. At this stage of the season, his match fitness will be fine (if he is indeed fit, I personally doubt that he is).
Anyway, we’ll win the game either way. I know it, you know it, the Celtic players know it and, so do the hun.
For most other players I would be concerned about his match fitness. Not him though. The guys level of physical fitness is absolutely staggering, and in the game back in February 2022 he was straight back in after a few weeks out and wearing the Phantom of the Opera mask – and he ran the show, as usual. If he says he’s fit, he’s fit.
