Murdo Fraser is trying to drag Celtic into Sunday’s anticipated Hatefest at Ibrox.

Anyone doubting the level of hatred likely to be on display only needs to listen out to Ally McCoist’s comments to TalkSPORT earlier this week when he boasted about being part of 48,000 joining in the hate songs and chants.

At the start of this week new legislation came into place in Scotland defining Hate Crimes which has outraged the Scottish Tory party.

Fraser has never came close to winning a constituency election but has repeatedly sneaked in the back door to Holyrood as a list MP for the Tories in mid-Scotland.

As a regular tapping his toes and singing along to the chants at Ibrox he knows that the new legislation is a game changer which will mute most of the traditional tunes heard around Ibrox where even Simply The Best can’t be sung without reference to the head of the Catholic Church.

Rather than confront the bigots Fraser uses the tried and tested O** F*** tactic as he spoke to STV ahead of Sunday’s match which will have NO CELTIC fans inside the ground:

What this points to is the level of uncertainty there is about the reach of this law and the concerns that were expressed in the run-up to the law being enacted by the police, and… that the police would find themselves deluged by lots of spurious and vexatious complaints.

I think there’s a real concern we are going to see that on the back of the Old Firm match this weekend just as we’ve seen it at the start of this week.

Asked about the JK Rowling incident from earlier this week the serial loser added:

I suspect and fear we will see the same after this weekend’s round of football, when we will see lots of complaints made to police. I suspect very few, if any, will ever lead to prosecutions but police will need to spend their time looking into this matter when, in my view, they should be dealing with much more serious offences.

It seems that Fraser declined to comment on the promises made by McCoist on TalkSPORT.

So many complaints expected that the police need to be doing something other than upholding the law and counter-acting hate ?

If The Scummy Tory Bastards hate the law then that’ll do just fine for me…

That said – In ma hey day of being a Rebellious Youth belting out the best of the Rebel songs in The Jungle I’d probably have been breaking it week in week out back then !

So I’m probably a hypocrite if I go on about Sevco fans breaking it…

However it wasn’t there in ma hey day thankfully !

Do you think anyone from STV had the Donegal’s to ask Fraser if he thought that the new crime bill would help to eradicate bigoted and racist singing at football matches , social gatherings and much more , all throughout Scawlin ? Nah ,didn’t think so !
