Image for Glasgow Rangers disappeared altogether- Westminster MP calls out the Continuation Lie

The football Governance Bill was discussed again today in the House of Parliament with a surprising outburst of honesty.

English lower league clubs are increasingly finding themselves getting eased out of the picture while the EPL reinforces its position as the wealthiest league in the world.

Clubs falling out of the EPL are finding life increasingly difficult with Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland all spending time down in the third tier.

Derby County and Bolton are currently chasing promotion back to the Championship, with Rangers earning a mention today of the problems clubs face when they spend next year’s money chasing success today.

But if what they are doing, as Derby County did, as Glasgow Rangers did, is actually to spend money from the future that means that if this years risk fails the club is inevitably going to go burst, in the case of Glasgow Rangers disappear altogether, in the case of Derby County almost disappear. Then that is a risk that the football fans aren’t prepared to take then the regulator should prevent, surely.

That an MP can prepare himself for some incoming abuse, being reminded of the realities of 2012 is something that the loyal bears have been shielded from by the compliant Scottish media and authorities.

Proof from the highest of echelons in British governance, something the useless lying bastards in Scottish football governance could well learn from…the truth is out there.

From Scotland’s highest Court, the Court of Session 2016 :

      29 January 2016 ·
      The Myth of Continuity
Alan Dewar QC, representing Charles Green at the Inner House of the Court of Session, has stated that ” The Rangers football club does not exist, it is an idea in people’s minds, a myth of continuity. No-one knows what the Rangers football club is, but it has no legal personality.”
Mr Dewar adds that ” you can only be the chairman of an entity that has a legal personality. Sevco Scotland, and it alone, bought the assets and carried on the business. The concept of the Rangers Institution continuing exists only in the minds of die hard supporters.”
Mr Dewar was responding to a question by one of the three appeal court judges who inquired: “Why is it so important that Rangers football club is Sevco Scotland rather than an institution going back 100 years?”

Just for telling the truth this poor guy is in for a real bad time from thems…

    Cretinous bastards.

Still, it is nice to have that fact entered into Hansard. If I was an MP I’d be filibustering the truth of their demise every week!

    Cretinous bastards.

He speaks the truth. The old club wasn’t relegated or demoted but LIQUIDATED and therefore died.

What is there now is something else.

  • John Copeland says:

It’s almost akin to when an old , old grandad passes away ,but the family still claim his state pension every week ? ” We know he’s still with us , sleeping ” so we are ” entitled “to our continuation with him as he is still ALIVE ! Why do you think that the clumpany cannot move forward as an entity ? It’s stuck rigid in the past …. that’s why !

  • Magua says:
