Anton Rodgers was a visitor to Lennoxtown today as Celtic put the finishing touches to their preparations for the Glasgow Derby.

First time around the manager’s son actually played in a pre-season friendly against BW Linz in 2017 although that was simply to give him a fitness boost after leaving Swindon Town.

Despite that stint with Celtic Anton found himself playing for Hungerford Town and was most recently playing for Basingstoke Town in the Isthmian League.

Possibly looking at a move into coaching Anton dropped in on Dad before taking in tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby in which a win will put Celtic six points clear with two matches left to play.

Brendan seemed to have a full squad to call on for training today with Daizen Maeda the last of the injured players to return to action.

The team for tomorrow almost picks itself with the main decision being whether James Forrest or Nicolas Kuhn starts on the right wing.
