The Man of the People act from Brian Wilson over recent weeks was exposed yesterday for the facade that it is.
Four times since January 5 the interim Chairman of Celtic has called for unity. He has failed to deliver.
In the Minutes of his February 18 meeting with the Celtic Fans Collective he confirmed that he has no authority on club matters.
MESSENGER WILSON
The interim Chairman is nothing more than a gloried messenger.
At the match against Hibs on Sunday Wilson hung about outside the media entrance for five minutes to be seen talking to fans.
It looked as authentic as a Labour candidate dropping in on a supermarket or a pub in the run up to an election.
Wilson is all show and no substance.
With Michael Nicholson seemingly afraid of his own shadow the Celtic board are kind of short on options over who should defend their horrific record.
The interim Chairman has been given the task. Beating Tom Allison and Sharon Brown to lead the charm offensive.
Celtic are currently 24 places behind Bodo Glimt in the UEFA Coefficient table. That gap is likely to increase.
Brian Wilson turned up with no actual power or authority, with a straight face claimed Nicholson has done a good job, also claimed the club processes aren’t as bad as made out and then look bored towards the end of the meeting ?
Run by absolute fucking clowns man ? https://t.co/VyUfe0zlqR

An AI summary of the Minutes revealed.
- Acknowledges mistakes but defends overall performance.
- Confirms reviews but provides no timelines.
- Commits to further meetings rather than discussions.
- Claims ongoing governance review but offers no details.
- Cannot identify who made certain decisions (fan media removal).
- Supporter Liaison Officer not briefed fully before meeting.
The February 18 meeting was a follow up to the meeting held with various Celtic supporter groups on October 6.
Wilson delayed it a week to allow him to have an Executive presence. He added the guy from Media & Marketing to the club representation.
Between Wilson and Kevin McQuillan none of them knew who had banned Fan Media from media conferences.
The sort of excuse that only a Labour voter would fall for.
With Celtic dragging their heals the Collective published the Minutes of the meeting.
So far Celtic haven’t offered any corrections.
Celtic last staged their quarterly Fans Forum in May 2025.
Michael Nicholson has a post-it note in his office to improve communications and engagement with Celtic supporters.

It’s res12 all over again, kick it down the road, this is a board who have zero intention of changing a thing, they will cling on to power till the very end.

I have no doubt that a major part of Manchester United’s problems are caused by old Ferguson still pulling strings behind the scenes at old Trafford ..to this day !
So, could Peter Lawwell still be doing the same at Celtic even after resigning his Non Exec Chairmanship …at the behest of Dermot Desmond while he walks the fairways of some beautiful golf course in a nice country with temperate weather ?
Would it surprise me ? No … not in the least !
His salary could be paid via one of Mr Desmond’s many companies ..as not to be registered on any official Celtic payroll ?
Dermot’s man in Paradise …still ! Heard but not seen …..
Spotter’s badge. He’ll be back at Parkhead by the summer.
Just another lap dog working for the mhan….
Another bitch for Desmond to use, the auld prick should’ve been sacked year’s ago.
