Ibrox Ultras, the Union Bears, will only be getting around 25 of the away allocation for Celtic Park on May 10.
That was the message on Super Scoreboard last night from Andrew McLean.
The agreement between the two clubs for the fixture was that there would be an allocation of 5% of the tickets given to away supporters.
That came into play in the middle of last season.
Following the physical attacks on Celtic players, staff and supporters at Ibrox on March 8 Celtic have decided to review ticketing.
Although not solely responsible for the attacks quite clearly the violent actions were led by the Union Bears.
As well as assaulting Celtic employees Police Officers are club stewards were also attacked.
12 minutes 30 seconds
It is my understanding that around 1% of the allocation that Rangers would be getting for the match would go to the Union Bears.
After leaving Eastwood High School, McLean worked for PLZ and the SFA before joining Radio Clyde.
Within an hour of the Ibrox statement McLean was passing on the message. Clearly a way to climb the ladder, to earn favour inside Ibrox.
The Union Bears never get a 1% allocation for any away match.
Recently at Falkirk the Tribute Act were given an allocation of 576 tickets.
From television coverage there were at least 100 Union Bears in that section. A 20% ticket allocation was be a more accurate estimate than 1%.
On the back of that fixture Falkirk are reviewing their plans for the same opponents on May 16.
Ibrox fans bought tickets for home areas. To the surprise of no-one there were several incidents with no action taken by Police or Stewards.
THE GREAT IBROX COVER UP
Since the match at Ibrox on March 8 no visible action has been taken.
BBC and Premier Sports had cameras on the post match scenes. Presumably the stadium CCTV also captured thos involved.
Six weeks on there has been no showing of the footage alongside requests to identify the fans on the pitch.
Radio Clyde and others want to maintain the O** F*** for continued easy content.
Hopefully Celtic are about to kill that branding off.
In November Michael Nicholson suspended 250 Celtic Season Ticket holders for five months.
Over the next fortnight we will discover if he is prepared to take action against those that physically assaulted employees at their place of work.
How many away fans should be at the May 10 Glasgow Derby?
2,500 Welcome bears
Allow 800 like other clubs
Zero angry bears

I had it on last night whilst sitting in the garden
and was cringing listening to Hugh Keevins arse licking that Cavenagh guy
Mclean was the “journalist” that contacted UEFA when a followfollow rumour emerged that one of our players was not registered.
He hastily contacted then in hope he had a a scoop only to find all paperwork was in order by the 138 year old club..as usual.
Had to laugh with that cheating mob saying integrity. Well done Celtic for the stance they took for once
