Youssef Chermiti escaped any punishment for a brutal over the ball stamp on Elliot Watt as his side lost 3-2 at home to Motherwell.
The Motherwell midfielder was turning in possession on the halfway line when he was confronted by the former Everton reserve.
Chermiti stretched out his right foot to stamp on Watt’s right ankle.
Kevin Clancy was perfectly placed, running past the grounded Motherwell midfielder seconds later.
Play raced towards the Motherwell goal. Chermiti had another priority, he leaned over Watt to shout abuse at his opponent.
It seems that VAR opted out of reviewing the incident. When play stopped Watt was treated on the pitch.
Youseff Chermiti studded Elliott Watt down the achilles, then when Watt was on the ground writhing in pain, Chermitti went down & shouted in his face. “Father Clancy” (as the Rangers fan call him) said ‘no foul’ & no booking for Chermiti pic.twitter.com/BN2fDigQCF

That incident compared sharply with one involving Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last month when Motherwell visited Celtic Park.
Neither match was shown live on Television, both were only shown on club channels.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had a foul awarded against him and was yellow carded for his foul on Elilaj Just.
Afterwards there was a witch-hunt.
The foul was shown from a variety of angles, all sorts of pundits were giving their view, Provided they wanted to see Oxlade-Chamberlain sent off.
Those campaigns set the narrative.
CHERMITI ESCAPES JUSTICE FROM CLANCY
Match officials are already under pressure from Willie Collum to deliver the desired outcomes.
They know the stakes involved.
Chermiti is Danny Rohl’s main goal threat.
Bojan Miovski was substituted at half time after being posted missing for 45 minutes. Ryan Naderi is currently out injured.
Rohl’s next match is away to Hearts. Chermiti has scored four times in his last two matches against Hearts.
If Rohl’s side are to maintain a title challenge they will have to win at Tynecastle. If Chermiti was suspended their chances of doing that would have been reduced.
Out of 170 officials selected for the 2026 World Cup Finals none of them come from Scotland.
Clancy is a shitebag, petrified to call any decisions against sevco because they are shouting him down every week. If he is too scared to make decisions he needs to be sacked from the top level.

That was one of 3 times he let a foul by The rangers go in midfield to give them a fast break.

Nasty one – not sure if he started out with that intention, but he could have planted his foot somewhere else when he knew he wasn’t getting the ball.

Clear red card for Chetmiti. Happens all the time with The Rangers

The only way to stop this nonsense…is for foreign officials to be appointed…Clancy is too frightened to send a Sevco player off…End of.
