Derek Clark was under attack from angry bears after jumping to the defence of Danny Rohl.
Clark is the ginger haired, Bolton based Hamilton Accies fan that is the happy face of the Rangers Review.
The Rangers Review is the brain child of Jonny McFarlane to give Newsquest a digital future.
It pretends to be fan media but is mainstream. A not so subtle messenger for the club founded by Charles Green.
McFarlane gained notoriety a decade ago when he explained why Barrie McKay is a greater talent that Kieran Tierney.
That classic came while he was an office junior at the Daily Record.
More recently he has trashed Callum McGregor, highlighting how one obscure stats site worked out that James Tavernier is the most successful Scottish based player of the last decade.
The Rangers Review has replaced the Daily Record as the mouthpiece of the Ibrox club.
The Review gets most of the club exclusives. Recently they had an outstanding exclusive explaining the brilliance of Nicky Raskin.
Any news that the club wants to get out goes to the Review via club sources or ‘we understand’.
THE TIDE TURNS ON DANNY ROHL
That relationship is great when the going is good.
Blind loyalty does come back to bite.
Clark and his colleagues were as sick as any bear last night. The SPFL title slipped away over 90 minutes against Motherwell.
Any genuine fan is questioning Danny Rohl’s ability.
But as club messengers Clark and the rest have to stand by the manager. The cost of that special relationship.
Lot of comments on the show calling for the manager to go.
Put simply, Rangers wouldn’t be in a title race if it wasn’t for Danny Rohl.
He’s made mistakes today but wanting him punted is wild. https://t.co/zRK8YYFy3w

Not being Russell Martin has a limited shelf life.
Rohl put on the blazer and brogues, headed over to speak to the Union Bears after a 3-0 defeat from Brann Bergen.
David Dickinson delivered some baffling decisions. Celtic helped out with the appointment of Wilfried Nancy. Rohl was gifted a win at Celtic Park.
NO DEFENCE FOR THE GERMAN FLOP
Unfortunately for the German the debit column has also been piling up.
Four defeats in six Europa League matches. Two domestic cup knock-outs to Celtic.
Dropping points away to Livingston and Motherwell.
Now at the business end of the season Rohl has been caught short.
After taking his pampered stars on a five day jolly to Marbella while Celtic were winning a Scottish Cup semi-final.
Ibrox fans aren’t very forgiving. Ask Micky Beale or Phil Clement. Both instantly acquired genius status only to be hounded out. Neither completed a full season as manager.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst reached a European final and won the Scottish Cup. He was sacked six months later.
If Rohl fails to win at Tynecastle next Monday the knives will be out.
If Rohl wins at Tynecastle he could be opening the door for Celtic to win the SPFL Premiership title.
Thanks for the kind words bud ?

Utter nonsense.
He’s dropped 18 fucking points since taking over. He’s only been here since November for crying out loud.
8 games he has failed to win.
It’s not even close to being good enough.
A proper manager wins a treble this season. Comfortably.
It’s been diabolical.

Too many fans imo happy to compare Rohl to our worst manager ever when every manager should be judged on the best thats come before them. Standards. The reality is, MON has a better record this season between two clubs who both had material deficits because of prior appointments.

It’s a total myth. Danny has done the bare minimum expected of him with the resources he has. We could have done much better than Danny Rohl and still could. Personally, I don’t like him and don’t want him as Rangers manager. I think he’s years away from being a proper manager…

Hi Derek, is there an element of bias around Danny Rohl within Rangers Review? Because from many fans view, some obvious concerns don’t seem to be getting fair scrutiny.

The league will be won by an geriatric who souds like he’s in the grips of dementia, or a Hearts team who have accumulated enough points to finish 3rd any other season. While we’ve got a young manager with a £40mill side conceding 3 goals at Ibrox in the 1st game of the split
