Celtic fans have been sharing their favourite memories of Andy Halliday.
On Friday the Poster Boy of the Banter Years announced that he was formally retiring.
It came as a surprise to many fans that Halliday was still draining a wage as a player. Most had assumed that he was a full time Ibrox cheerleader, appearing on multiple media outlets.
Whether it is BBC Scotland, Radio Clyde or Open Goal you’d be hard pushed to realise that Halliday is currently on the pay-roll at Motherwell.
Every waking thought seems to be directed to events at Ibrox.
On Friday he claimed that an away win in the Glasgow Derby was the only ‘trophy’ available to Danny Rohl. It seems that he has written off his current employees in tonight’s match at home to Hearts.
he’s been a riddy over the last few years. Never should an active player be so involved in punditry and commentary on our game – stick to the day job, watching the rest of your teammates play the best football we’ve seen in our league.

Hampden holds especially painful memories for the former Ibrox star.
In the 2016 Scottish Cup Final he scored the goal to put the Tribute Act 2-1 ahead of Hibs.
A place in the history books was 25 minutes away. The scorer of the winning goal for the clubs first ever trophy win.
Alas Tony Stokes and David Gray had other ideas. Halliday went home with a losers medal, consoled by James Tavernier.
CELTIC FANS CELEBRATE A SPECIAL LOSER
Two years later Halliday and Captain Disappointed were back at Hampden for a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic.
When Graeme Murty hooked the former Bradford ace before half-time he released a whole new level of anger.
Halliday didn’t hold back as he shouted abuse at the caretaker boss with Celtic already leading 2-0. The sporting Celtic fans serenaded Halliday, recognising a fan on the pitch and someone truly out of his depth.
Two weeks later Halliday was taunted throughout by 52,000 Celtic fans as the hoops clinched the title with a 5-0 walkover.
Halliday will be a regular on BBC Sportscene next season, alongside Steven Naismith, Steven Thompson, Billy Dodds, Neil McCann, Cammy Bell and other messengers.
He thought he had won it ???

Lol wee Andy Maradonna calling it a day,not before time, collecting a wage at Motherwell when he is in TV studios and radio station studios more than anywhere near Motherwell either playing or training.
As for his take on all things football in our game, another bias hun with his thoughts.
No doubt he will end on a coaching role as time goes on at Airdrie or some other bigoted klub.
You never know maybe even a special guest star appearance as sevco in some capacity as well, all depends on how much ARSE licking he does.
What a beautiful fu**in farewell for him at Liebrox…
Motherwell winning !!!
