England crashed out of the World Cup in glorious fashion tonight to Argentina.
After scraping their way to the semi-finals by beating some minor nations fate caught up on Thomas Tuchel and his losers.
Anthony Gordon put England in front in the 55th minute, after that the order from Tuchel was to hold on to that lead. England has12% possession in the remainder of the match.
It was an act of complete cowardice which will lead to calls for the baldy German to be sacked.
Throughout the second half Jude Bellingham looked distressed as he looked to the bench for instruction and inspiration.
Argentina poured forward with almost total possession.
At the hydration break Tuchel virtually threw in the towel sending on Dan Burn, Terry Butcher and Tony Adams to hold onto the slimmest of leads.
Well played Argentina they deserved it??
Gareth Southgate was accused of being too negative… what does that make Thomas Tuchel?
Did Tuchel hand the game to Argentina by parking the bus? https://t.co/e8GorUP24v— Chris Sutton (@chris_sutton73) July 15, 2026
Argentina came close, Jordan Pickford made a few fortunate saves before the glorious breakthrough in the 85th minute.
A corner was fed back to Enzo Fernandez who let rip with a brilliant diagonal shot from 20 yards out that Pickford never got near.
ARGENTINA KNOWS HOW TO CELEBRATE
Argentina and most of the world celebrated. The fans in the stadium were ecstatic, even after the best part of two hours they found an extra level for their celebrations.
In the second minute of stoppage time Alexi McAllister hit the post for a second time. The ball was fed back into the six yard box with Lautaro MartÃnez heading into the net.
The referee played on beyond 100 minutes but there wasn’t to be another chance for the English.
With Burn at centre forward and Harry Kane in central midfield England never threatened.
Tuchel can now expect the most brutal and personal attacks from the English media. His nationality will be a focus for criticism.
Sir Keir Starmer won’t be travelling out to Sunday’s final in New Jersey. On Monday he loses his job.
There will be no Public Holiday in England.
With the English out the entire world can anticipate a classical final on Sunday between Spain and Argentina.
TalkSPORT will be essential listening over the next couple of days as they hound on their German leader.

The pile on has begun with the German. Expect questions in parliament and knighthoods for the serial losers.
From a County Mayo Town, came a man of great renown,
As a sailor and a soldier none was bolder.
He went to Americay at an early age they say,
As a cabin boy to sail the whole world over…
Then adventure took him South, to the de la Plata mouth, San Martin was on the route in Argentina,
So three whaling ships he bought and Brazil and Spain he fought,
And freedom then he sought for ARGENTINA !
Now Admiral William Brown, you’re a man of courage shown,
And in battles fought the odds were all against you.
But you’re Irish Heart was strong, and in memory still lives on, and in Ireland there are some that don’t forget you…
On St.Patricks day it’s told, you had many victories bold,
You defeated all invaders, thugs and bullies.
Then through the Pampas rose, and you found a happy home – Las Islas Malvinas ARGENTINA !
He had heard of Irish hands, in a noble gallant band,
That had helped to free the land called Argentina.
He had heard with great acclaim, the Patricios name and fame, when in eighteen six the British came to slaughter…
And to this very day, in the Argentine they say, the English ran away from Buenos Aries.
To the islands further down, and they took them for the crown – Las Islas Malvinas ARGENTINA !
We remember William Brown and his land of great renown, he, invader of the islands of your country.
When in 1833, were by pirates forced to flee, and in Ireland sure we know the story fully…
And the people that went too, To the Argentine when new, to escape the English laws, and wars and famine,
They have proved a loyal crew, just like all the Irish Do – Las Islas Malvinas ARGENTINA !
The old colonial days, and the cruel English ways,
With her thunder plunder, we will teach the natives.
For the Brits are going to war, just like Whitelocke did before, with her ships, and guns and drums and flags and banners…
In the empire days of old, when they murdered for the gold, and paraded it around the streets of London.
Oh no human rights were given, for the dead nor for the living – Las Islas Malvinas ARGENTINA !
In the Argentine he died, father Fahey by his side,
‘57 was the year his country mourned him.
A hero to the nation, he’s remembered with elation, throughout the world where freedom still abounds…
And the Southern Cross take note, where bold Willie Bulfin wrote,
The Irish still support you Argentina.
With the empire tumbling down, let no Paddies back the crown – Las Islas Malvinas ARGENTINA !!!!
Brilliant Clach! ???
Give that pure fab (ADMIRAL WILLIAM BROWN) song pure fu**in Laldy on your ghetto blasters tomorrow Bhoys and Ghirls !!!!
ARRRRRRRGENTINA 2 v COLONIAL BASTARDS 1
Hasta la victoria siempre!
The most satisfying part of engerlund being outplayed by Argentina and out of the WC is the disappointment and disaster and misery experienced by all….together in despair ! All suffering together in defeat .Politicians ..TV hosts and guests .News readers and scoops . All EMSM and digital programmes . In fact an entire english country with an unchallenged attitude of ‘its coming home ‘ in failure ! Just like in wee Scotland when theRangers fail once again trying to be successful . And soon it will begin again here ..a new season of the very same ! All of the huge hope and promises and longing and confidence from an entire SMSM and Politicians and TV hosts and guests ..news readers et al . Another unchallenged attitude of an ‘its coming home ‘ equivalent to a theRangers success story . As they say ‘ it’s the hope that gets them in the end ‘ . Or as Inaction of the daily Record would say … hhiicccuuppp!
