Across social media Celtic and Adidas are in overdrive as they push the latest contrived merch at Celtic fans.
Every link possible is used to link the latest launch to the Lisbon Lions.
When you claim that the third kit is inspired by the paving stones of Lisbon it really is time to draw a line.
And that is exactly what thousands of Celtic fans have done. Drawn a line- Not Another Penny.
The shambles of last summer was compounded by the denial and deflections from inside Celtic.
A new supporter group came together. It called itself the Celtic Fans Collective. Tapping into disillusionment the Not Another Penny campaign came about.
Every Celtic income stream has taken a hammering. Especially merchandise.
Not another penny is working keep it going

JD Sports, an official sponsor of Celtic describes their £10 trackie top
Take your skills up a level and show who you’re backing. This men’s Celtic Training Track Top by adidas ticks all the boxes. Lightweight, breathable, dynamic. Made to move with you, it’s engineered with sweat-wicking AEROREADY tech, while mesh details keep things cool. Add extra airflow with the quarter zip collar. Finished with Semi Solar Green adidas branding, and the iconic Celtic crest. Machine washable.
With minimal effort involving design or marketing the money poured in from Celtic fans.
‘Take my money Mr Adidas’ was a common reply on social media at whatever was launched.
Kits that the players would never use at a match flew off the shelves.
WHY CELTIC FANS FELL OUT OF LOVE WITH ADIDAS
Anything with an Adidas stamp was worn as a badge of honour. Stock was constantly shifting and being sold out.
That has all come to a halt. The tills have stopped ringing. The stock is piling up but so too are the discounts. Deep discounts.
Of course there was an easy solution and that was for Celtic to make a few changes and act like a competent club.
Install a Director of Football and a modern recruitment operation.
Invest some of the profits in players rather than Corporation Tax payments to HMRC.
Celtic opted out of that approach. Instead they doubled down.
The Collective has been refuelled. All of their claims about the performance and attitude of the club has been reinforced.
On Saturday Middlesbrough are the visitors in a glamour friendly.
With less than 10,000 home fans attending it looks like being a quiet day in the club Superstore.

Good piece Joe , it’s nice to hear that ( not another penny ) is working so well , I don’t like to say this , but I would like to see all Celtic fans boycott both friendly matches, the board would see a loss in revenue, and before anyone else claims that the team would suffer , & they will , we need to look at the longer issue here , the team playing in both matches is not the best team we want to see , so if we did our business properly , half off them wouldn’t be there, support the opening day , give the team on the pitch support, but in friendly games we should boycott them , I am , still won’t stop me loving my team , but I believe this will really hurt the board . HH
Every 1 of them were in the building when 2012 happened .
If anyone new came in they’d get to know about the deals struck.
Makes you wonder if that’s why
McKay jumped ship ???
Only a theory but…
Editor: Spot on. While we have Directors covering up their actions in July 2012 we are stuck on the hard shoulder, not the slow lane.
The “upward dissent” continues unabated. Mike Mulraney was in touch with Celtic about a new Glasgow Stadium to be shared by a few Clubs (Scottish Newspapers November 2025). One would be Glasgow City women’s team. He desperately wants a Glasgow City men’s team as well. I guess his proposal was rejected?. However today, with all he turmoil hitting the major shareholders, it must be tempting for some to discuss selling Celtic Park Stadium and relocating Celtic FC to Ireland or Cymru. A handsome dividend would be an enticement. Mike Mulraney knows a lot of monied people, with lazy millions or billions of Pounds. Does Celtic FC still have the claimed lazy $70 million Pounds? I think that Ross and Dermot plus others have had enough abuse from hostile fans. There has never been any reparation to the Club by guilty fans for their UEFA fines, paid by the Club they once loved.
“Enough abuse”….oh, FFS!
Love the handle, your well named. Fuck knuckle would be a nice add on.
The fans have been too nice to the charlatans
For a tenner I’m tempted, but…… I won’t. I love Martin, but I worry he’s been taken in by these bounders
Lol,loving this chaos regarding no signings and tge board doing a bunk with the cash.
Hell slap it into you all, mugs the lot yeez.
The Celtic fans are like BIG DONALD’S groupies, when it comes to the board.
