The social media team at Celtic is under attack from all angles.
Even when sharing the blandest and dullest of content.
At least it wasn’t trying to sell the latest tat to the #celticfamily.
But it certainly wasn’t the signing of a new player. Not since September 1 and Sebastian Tounekti have Celtic made a permanent signing.
Inside their own little bubble all is well at Celtic, despite the reality all around.
A visit from Martin O’Neill, Michael Nicholson and Brian Wilson to the AGM of the AICSC ticked one box.
It seems that the Executive of the AICSC were delighted with their scoop, posing for pictures with two of the main architechts of Celtic’s managed decline.
Mute Mike the CEO was pictured in his casuals while another weekend slipped away without any players being signed.
As anyone paying attention knows Nicholson’s efforts will be on selling players before bringing in a few token projects in the hope that something will stick to the wall.
The agents of Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston, Arne Engels, Ben Nygren and Auston Trusty will be battling to present Nicholson with the biggest offer.

O’NEILL TAKES THE MANAGED DECLINE OF CELTIC ONTO THE PITCH TONIGHT
While Celtic serve up pointless filler content the team are in action tonight against Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
There has been no advance publicity for the match in Dublin, no pre-match media conference from Martin O’Neill.
Celtic’s favoured media messengers announced O’Neill’s appointment on June 5, the club confirmed the deal on June 11.
Since then there has been one stage managed interview with Gerry McCulloch with the new manager.
O’Neill admitted to needing a couple of players to augment those already at the club.
Most fans suspect that O’Neill has greatly underestimated the task that he faces.
Between tonight and July 25 Celtic have four pre-season matches to prepare for the start of the SPFL campaign.
There is an ominous look around things, fans can see it while those inside the club pretend that all is running perfectly with Season Tickets sold out.
Nice but not another penny

While it may not be new signings, I’m glad this flurry of social posts isn’t selling us something else.

Just like the women’s team……..Managed Decline FC……..a squad currently where we have only two players that played regularly last season.
A mute board who promised change and delivered nothing but more lies.
A dictator from Ireland bringing over the C squad to his home ?
