The social media team at Celtic is under attack from all angles.
Even when sharing the blandest and dullest of content.
At least it wasn’t trying to sell the latest tat to the #celticfamily.
But it certainly wasn’t the signing of a new player. Not since September 1 and Sebastian Tounekti have Celtic made a permanent signing.
Inside their own little bubble all is well at Celtic, despite the reality all around.
A visit from Martin O’Neill, Michael Nicholson and Brian Wilson to the AGM of the AICSC ticked one box.
It seems that the Executive of the AICSC were delighted with their scoop, posing for pictures with two of the main architechs of Celtic’s managed decline.
Mute Mike the CEO was pictured in his casuals while another weekend slipped away without any players being signed.
As anyone paying attention knows Nicholson’s efforts will be on selling players before bringing in a few token projects in the hope that something will stick to the wall.
The agents of Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston, Arne Engels, Ben Nygren and Auston Trusty will be battling to present Nicholson with the biggest offer.

O’NEILL TAKES THE MANAGED DECLINE OF CELTIC ONTO THE PITCH TONIGHT
While Celtic serve up pointless filler content the team are in action tonight against Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
There has been no advance publicity for the match in Dublin, no pre-match media conference from Martin O’Neill.
Celtic’s favoured media messengers announced O’Neill’s appointment on June 5, the club confirmed the deal on June 11.
Since then there has been one stage managed interview with Gerry McCulloch with the new manager.
O’Neill admitted to needing a couple of players to augment those already at the club.
Most fans suspect that O’Neill has greatly underestimated the task that he faces.
Between tonight and July 25 Celtic have four pre-season matches to prepare for the start of the SPFL campaign.
There is an ominous look around things, fans can see it while those inside the club pretend that all is running perfectly with Season Tickets sold out.
Nice but not another penny

While it may not be new signings, I’m glad this flurry of social posts isn’t selling us something else.

Just like the women’s team……..Managed Decline FC……..a squad currently where we have only two players that played regularly last season.
A mute board who promised change and delivered nothing but more lies.
A dictator from Ireland bringing over the C squad to his home ?

They fans sitting in that photo with Nicholson and Wilson need to have a word with themselves
Lol,that’s a belter of an article,Sack The Board, this will be the same board that you all gave your own season book money to only a few weeks back.
Aye that’s right give them(the board) the money millions upon millions of pounds to F**K OFF to the bank with deposit it then they stick their 2 fingers up at you all,but now the article is titled sack the board.
Lol,the horse has bolted to late shut the stable door, the board gave your cash, and there is jackshit you can do about.
It’s almost as if our fans have a touch of MAGA about as I being dense, parting with their cash knowing the board are a bunch of CRIMINALS,just like Trump, people invested in his crypto scheme and lost a little of money thousands if not millions, but blamed the Democrats for it,no doubt some on our side will blame sevco for the board not spending the seadon book money or the money I the bank,as they are doing this to benefit sevco.
Editor: You have no idea who has and who hasn’t bought Season Tickets.
Ooh Betty
Ed, are you talking to Frank, that is Betty’s husband, or one of his many other alter ego’s perhaps?
Scud Missile perhaps or The Joker maybe? It could probably be MadmanMars or wait for it his real name s……hxxx04####@gmail.com.
It’s nearing the point when he’ll fully lose it, overstep the boundaries and have to lay low for a while, then adopt a new mantle and move back into circulation. His posts are becoming irrational, full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. His posts are aimed at belittling fellow fans who continue to fund the Club through Season book sales. The guy needs help..
Jimbhoy I only want to be your friend, you are taking that to far.
Lol,the spelling mistakes are the predictive texting, but hey ho,it’s only a blog and we are having a laugh, not an English test,if you notice it quite a bit of predictive texting on here, including from the guy that writes the blog.
Cheer bud,it might never happen.
I’m curious as to how this or any other board gets ‘sacked ? ‘ What are the correct procedures? Nobody as far as I know especially from fan media can demand that a certain person must go for gross incompetency ? Unless the big boss himself Mr Desmond is of the feeling that a member or members of the board are not up to the job then that’s the only way to ‘sack’ them ? It kind of reminds me of the nice cushy deal that MSP’s and MP’s have got ? No matter how bad they are at their jobs ….nobody including the First Minister or Prime Minister can take their mandated job away from them ! The only way there is for them to stand down or resign their posts . I’m more than sure that this current board are well aware of this …..
Yes, just replace the Board with trained monkeys now.
Decisions might still not be forthcoming,
but nobody will notice – and the club would save a chunk of money on salaries and bonuses!
IF the Board members genuinely believe that they are doing a good job,
then they simply don’t have a bl00dy clue about the club’s potential. 🙁
A holiday of no obligation
Wilson and Nicholson are at risk of having traffic cones placed on their heads, they have been as active as figures from a Chinese terracotta army. How is it possible for a CEO to swan off to Ireland at this crucial period? It’s time we saw plumes of white smoke coming out of the Celtic Park chimney, declaring that a new board has been elected.
Surely the Irish Celtic supporters made life difficult for Lucan, Sly McKay and Butchers Apron Brian !
