According to a report in The Scottish Sun a Celtic fan has been charged with assaulting Frankie Kent on May 16.
After Callum Osmand scored Celtic’s third goal a few hundred fans were on the pitch for around three minutes.
With Osmand netting in the seventh minute of stoppage time match referee Don Robertson quickly consulted with Derek McInnes who agreed to finish the match.
Both sets of players could have been back on the pitch to play out the remaining seconds.
Within five minutes of Osmand’s goal the Hearts players were on the team bus making a sharp exit.
With fans on the park there were unsavory scenes.
A few Hearts players were taunted and goaded. It wasn’t needed, thousands of Celtic fans booed as they were denied the conclusion of the match and the SPFL campaign.
Typically a few idiots took things too far.
PAT NEVIN MAKES UP LIES AT CELTIC PARK
Pat Nevin told listeners to BBC Five Live that two or three Celtic fans punched Lawrence Shankland.
Wee Pat was terrified, horrified and mortified. He was also lying which has been a theme throughout his life. Nevin is still regularly used as a BBC pundit.

Mobile phone footage did show one fan taunting Frankie Kent, the Hearts player appeared to knock a mobile phone out of the hand of the intruder.
Hearts made a couple of post-match statements which were quickly watered down
Sky Sports and BBC Scotland had multiple cameras at the match.
While unruly as the afternoon developed no footage surfaced to show any physical attacks on Hearts players.
Now it appears that Police Scotland have found evidence of an assault.
A court case will be held at a later date.
So far there has been no comment of statement from the SFA or SPFL about the widespread anti-Catholic singing at Ibrox on Sunday.
A week watching CCTV coverage alongside details of Ibrox Season Ticket holders should identify thousands of cases of sectarian singing.
Apparently four fans were arrested with just one, a 55-year-old for sectarian abuse. One other fan was arrested for assaulting a Police Officer.
What should Celtic Fans Collective do with Not Another Penny?
CONTINUE- This is the main way to protest
SUSPEND- Let us see what Celtic Connect produces
ABANDON- No longer required or useful

I arrived at the ground early recently and decided to kill time with a wander around the superstore.Alas it was impossible to enter as there was a massive queue! That tells me that the “not another penny” is not working.
Editor: No campaign has 100% support. There are many many Happy Clappers out there but without doubt NAP has worked very well. Thousands had reduced their spending, now they had something to get behind, to formalise their protest.
Your surname will be familiar to Daily Record Hotline readers of the early nineties… are you?
Typical Scottish Media trying to deflect after all the usual bile coming from Ipox . Sectarian singing , a Tifo inciting violence , assaulting Police officers fighting among themselves , stabbing each other . Yeh but a Celtic fan goaded a Hearts player . Scottish Media are arseholes , arseholes are Scottish Media
An overstretched police Scotland who don’t have the manpower to protect supporters at castle greyskull have found evidence of an assault nearly 4 months later.
How many hours went into finding that little nugget through cctv. It’s astounding that this is the best use of their resources but when there’s a will there’s a way. I was livid about the pitch invasion.
Grown men who should know better taking selfies what for clicks on their FB. Everyone of them should be ashamed of their actions that day but obviously some don’t give a shit because it happened again at that cesspit.
As usual the minority affect the majority and we’re going to end up with some sort of barricade prevention around the park because these idiots think they have the right to do what they want.
I really hope this evidence is as flimsy as Police Scotland’s ability on crowd control but if it’s true then I have no sympathy if you’d stayed in your seat this wouldn’t be happening.
