The Celtic boss had an eventful first day online revealing that a bottle had smashed a window on the team bus returning from yesterday’s win over Berwick.

“Incident on the bus after the match. Someone threw a bottle & broke a window. But we’re not going to let some idiot mar what is a good day!” Lennon tweeted on @officialneil.

News of a new Celtic twitter account requires official confirmation with Marc Crosas the ‘bishop of Celtic twitter’ according to the popular Celticrumours account.

The former Barcelona midfielder celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday and was happy to tweet: “Yes..the gaffer is on twitter! “

Some folk interpreted Crosas gesture of throwing his shirt into the crowd as a farewell gesture but again he put that to right on twitter.

“Giving away my top to the crowd doesn’t mean anything!was just a gesture to my #celtictweeps” he said.

“And they call him one of the best referees? That’s a joke. SMH.” Babel tweeted. “SMH is an abbreviation for “shaking my head” but the 24-year-old has since added: “My apology if they take my posted pic seriously. This is just an emotional reaction after losing an important game. Sorry Howard Webb.”
