Biram Kayal's double vision

|

Biram KayalBiram Kayal has his sights set on a domestic double.

Celtic face Inverness Caley Thistle tonight knowing that they are four wins away from lifting the SPL title before meeting Motherwell in the final of the Scottish Cup.

Kayal’s return from injury at new year has made a massive impact on Celtic’s season with the Israeli’s performances catching the eye of some Premiership clubs.

Celtic showed their faith in the midfielder when they signed him from Israeli football last summer with Kayal desperate to repay Neil Lennon’s decision.

“This has been a dream season for me both personally and for the team,” Kayal said.

“I am aware of all the talk surrounding me. The manager spoke to me about my contract and told me there would be speculation, but I told him I had heard all about it already.

“Many agents have tried to speak to me, but I don’t want to deal with them. My head is only concentrating on the league and cup double. Only at the end of the season, can people ask me about it.

“It is not easy to settle abroad and I was also out three months with an injury.

“To return to good form, which can be difficult, has been fun for me. Even when I wasn’t playing, the manager spoke to me all the time and supported me.

“In fact, since I returned I have felt good every day and I want to be part of this team’s success this season.
