Motherwell move in to Murray Park

|

Stuart McCall Motherwell newsHard-up Rangers are renting out Murray Park to Scottish Cup finalists Motherwell.

Stuart McCall’s side will use the state-on-the-art training complex to put the finishing touches to their preparations for tomorrow’s Scottish Cup Final clash with Celtic.

McCall is a former Rangers player and played at Ibrox under Walter Smith in the ninties.

The ‘Well boss will be hoping that his side can pick up some of the Murray Park magic that enabled Smith’s side to score 11 times without reply in two games against Motherwell since the turn of the year.

After losing 5-0 at home to Rangers McCall said: “If anyone had been at Fir Park, up until 45 minutes our goalkeeper had nothing to do and we lost a goal which shouldn’t have been given. Allan McGregor also had two really good saves.

“Naismith won’t score two goals like that again in one game and the last was a great breakaway.”

Motherwell born ‘billionairre’ Craig Whyte recently bought Rangers for £1 from Sir David Murray.
