Henrik Larsson Celtic newsLandskrona BoIS shocked league leaders Angelholm with a 2-1 win away from home of Friday night.

The win lifts LBoIS into eighth place well away from the relegation zone thanks to 13 points from the last five matches with just one goal conceded.

Two first half goals from Fredrik Olson paved the way to a surprise win with Angelhom starting the match 16 points ahead of Henrik’s in-form BoIS.

Much of the credit for the win belongs to new goalkeeper Ivo Vazgec who went into the match on the back of four clean sheets since his move from Jönköpings Södra.

After 419 minutes Vazgec finally conceded his first goal for LboIS but took that setback as if he was reading from a script prepared by his manager.

No matter how many goals I let in it doesn’t matter as long as we win,” the keeper said. “Even if it ends up 10-9 for us.”

On Friday LBoIS are away to Assyriska, with six games left to play a run of wins may just propel them into a play-off spot after flirting with relegation during July after winning just 3 of their first 11 matches.

Thanks for spotting that Corrib, quickly corrected.

Never say never where the King of Kings is concerned, looked like a relegation fight for LBoIS in mid season but could now finish top 5 or 6 if they keep up their form, play off place looks a bit beyond them, but never say never.
