Udinese coach Franco Guidolin has confirmed that star striker Toto di Natale is a certainty to face Celtic tomorrow night.
Di Natale was left behind when Udinese visited Glasgow in September and there has been speculation that he’d be left out of Thursday’s Europa League clash with a view to Sunday’s trip to Rome where Udinese face Lazio.
Udinese must avoid defeat tomorrow night to progress to the next stage of the Europa League with Guidolin banking on his top scorer to see off Celtic.
“Toto ‘is a certainty and will be ready for Europe,” Guidolin admitted. “He is in extraordinary form and can almost get a goal in every game.”
Research by leading Italian sportspaper Tuttosport has revealed that di Natale is in better form that legends like Michel Platini and Marco van Basten with an average of 0.79 goals per game in Serie A so far this season.
