Miodrag Krivokapic Celtic NewsCeltic’s u-17 side are in Glasgow Cup action tonight against Partick Thistle, kick-off 7pm at Lennoxtown.

So far Celtic boast a perfect record in the competition with four wins out of four against the other sides and beat Thistle 6-0 in the opening match in August.

A win tonight would guarentee Celtic a place in the final of the competition that they won last season by beating Rangers 1-0 in the final thanks to a goal from Paul George.

For the last two seasons the competition has been in the form of a round robin competition giving each club eight competitive matches with the top two sides meeting in the final.

Most of last season’s Celtic side have graduated into the U-19 side with Marcus Fraser and Paul George sampling some first team action.

Tonight’s match could be subject to a postponement, tomorrow Celtic’s u-19 side are scheduled to play Dunfermline in the SFA Youth Cup, kick-off 12.30 at Lennoxtown.

Last season’s Glasgow Cup winners:

CELTIC: Fasan; Miller, Fraser, O’Brien, Chalmers; Herron, Fisher, Kidd; George, Johnstone

SUBS: Wightman, Findlay (Herron 88), Kirwan (Yaqub 90), Lindsay, Ankarhake (Johnstone 60), Madden, Mjallby
