Marc Crosas was introduced to the supporters of Santos Laguna before Sunday’s 1-0 win over Jaguares.
The former Celtic midfielder was given the number six shirt before watching his new club move into third place in the table with seven points from their first three matches.
Speaking to the Santos website Crosas said: “The most important thing for me is that the club showed interest. When a team as great as Santos show interest it makes the decision easy.
“I was eager to travel, join the club and see the team playing.”
Crosas is expected to make his debut away to Tijuana, who are also on seven points, on Sunday.
