Twitter Celtic NewsTwitter addict Joey Barton has revealed that he has received 30 letters from the FA about his use of the social network!

The QPR midfielder has made headlines online than on the park and has attracted well over one million followers to his twitter account.

No subject is off limits for Barton who was happy to let his followers know about the latest warning from the FA.

Yesterday he tweeted: “Just received my weekly warning letter from FA headquarters, this time regarding me tweeting about predicting the weekends Manchester double.

“According to the FA, I am not allowed to give my opinion of possible results in case that is seen as insider information. These people are So out of touch with reality its untrue.

“What difference does my opinion of the outcome of a match, have on the result? None. #rightinthebin

“The strange thing is they have probably sent me 30 letters since I started tweeting. That’s 30 pieces of paper wasted….stop sending please.”

Barton added: “I’ll prob get a letter about the last few tweets. That’s how ridiculous its become.Drastic shake up needed to move the game into 21st century.”

    He IS right though, Panellists, radio commentators, ex players regularly give THEIR opinions on fixtures…so why he be gagged.

    Like him or loathe him,I’d always have him in MY side than against me. Not the first / last player to have a very short fuse. Segio Ramos sent off for the THIRTEENTH time in his short career already, maybe another nutjob..but there would still be a queue a mile long to sign him if they thought they had a chance. Just like Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira and a host of others before him they like the publicity.

    The difference is while Barton’s a knob jockey and always will be, acts the big man but if l remember right he cried like a little bitch when he got pretty much a weekender and he’s not actually that good at football. HAIL HAIL
