Willie Collum Celtic newsNext Sunday’s League Cup Final between Celtic and Kilmarnock at Hampden will be refereed by Willie Collum.

It’s the first major final that Collum has been awarded confirming his status as the rising star within the refereeing fraternity.

After a nightmare performance in his first derby appointment in October 2010 the Lanarkshire whistler was in charge of the December Celtic v Rangers clash which Celtic won thanks to a goal from Joe Ledley.

Stuart Stevenson and Charlie Smith will assist Collum with Calum Murray as fourth official.

With Collum taking charge of the League Cup Final it looks likely that the Rangers v Celtic match the following week will be handled by Craig Thomson or Murray.

Sunday’s Scottish Cup clash with Dundee United will be refereed by Iain Brines.

They are all the same. We have to win by beating the opponents, the refs, the SPL and the SFA.

It wouldn’t matter if fat Sally was the ref we will not be denied.

See the huns are planning a giant “We’d rather die with our history, than live with yours” for the Ibrokes game. It is quite sad that’s all they can come up with. They wont be walking away after that game only because they’ll be running to get away from another defeat. HH
