Neil Lennon has confirmed that James Forrest won’t play again this season.
The young-player-of-the-year candidate hasn’t played since being injured in the League Cup Final defeat by Kilmarnock.
On the plus side Lennon is hopeful of seeing Biram Kayal back in action before the season ends.
“Biram has started training in the last week or so and we’re hoping that he’ll get some game time before the end of the season,” Lennon told Celtic tv.
“James Forrest is the main concern and we doubt very much whether we’ll see him again over the rest of the season
“Ki’s season is over, we’ll give him some time at home but he’ll be back for the trophy presentation and the Hearts game and we’ll see how he is then.”
