Ally McCoist Rangers newsDorin Goian and Maurice Edu are the latest players to quit Ibrox.

Serie B side Spezia have agreed a season long loan deal for Goian with Stoke City and Ipswich both in talks to sign Edu.

While Edu hasn’t played a game this season centre-half Goian started in all four matches until being left out of last night’s Ramsdens Cup tie at Falkirk.

Yesterday Ally McCoist signed his fifth player of the season when 20-year-old Sebastian Faure agreed a deal with just over a week remaining before a delayed 12 month transfer embargo is imposed.

Commenting on yesterday’s developments the Sevco boss said: “It will be a relief when I get a few in. I think it was inevitable that we would lose some players.

“My biggest concern is when we don’t replace them. I keep going on about the numbers and we’ve lost in the region of 25 and we’ve brought in nothing like that, we’ve brought in a very minimal amount.

“We were down to the bare bones tonight when you looked at the bench. We definitely need to strengthen, of that there is no doubt.”

The departure of Goian is puzzling with the player stating how happy he was living in Glasgow and playing for Rangers after initially hinting that he couldn’t play in the fourth tier.

Palermo are still owed money for the £600,000 deal that took the defender to Rangers a year ago and may be unhappy at Spezia signing a player that they are overdue money for.

The signing of Faure is dependent on international clearance with St Etienne owed money by Rangers for the sale of Carlos Bocanegra a year ago.

Souldn’t be aloud to buy anyone, a signing ban for a year should mean a year. Anyway good to see the mighty Celtic back in the Champions League where we belong Hail Hail !!!

  • Mrhappy says:

Funny how ally complains about being down to the bare bones while at the same time letting players go on loan and practically pushing others out the door? Couldn’t be the wage bill could it!! Wonder what would happen if these guys decided to stick it out and claim their wages??

  • Big G says:

Does anyone know how many players are not playing for Sevco1234 that represented Rangers (RIH) last season?

I never hear Ally mention it so I am just curious.

Anyway credit given where credit is due and well done to Sevco1234 for their giant killing exploits last night in the doo-doo cup.

So much for not wanting to leave a world famous club in Sevco to join a low league Italian outfit…another one who DOES do walking away then. Next Edu & then Bocanegra for sure.

Sally clearly giving the young players a boost fo confidence that they aren’t good enough for the lwoest tier in Scottish football !!

    16 players out + various youngsters incl 10 x U19s
    and 6 in to date.

  • Bogdan Rodriquez says:

So big headu Edu cannae git a gem in the fourth tier. Dorin loves Glasgow but cant see the dream of a five year climb until they win the World Club Championship, as we are being told. This team shouldn’t even be able to wheel and deal like this after the muck they have stuck everyone in.

They will be broke by Xmas and fat Sally will be signing as a player and trying to find the XXXL shorts that have been lying at the bottom of the laundry bin since he left playing that warm spring morning amidst the stench of smokey bacon, roasted goat and cow sh&te.

  • Is this VideoCelts or Videosevco?

Geeze something about the ‘tic Joe,it’s what you’re best at.

  • Grrry says:

I wouldn’t think they’ll get any fee for Edu as he’s not played and accepted sevco transfer. Oh dear, how sad!

  • dombhoy67 says:

What are we to read into the constant bbc update radio reports of the Falkirk / sevco game last night at the same time as Celtic were representing Scotland in Europe? Chick Young doing his usual interview from up fat sally’s ar$e with all the nice easy leading questions that allowed fat sally to sound philosophical . . .as well as a pratt. The pride of Scottish football in Europe and the shame of Scottish football scraping a win at Falkirk . . .but with almost equal radio coverage. Why can’t the bbc get over the fact that rangers are dead and sevco are a new club with no history?

  • mick f says:

A transfer embargo that only comes into place when the transfer window closes, only in Scotland.

  • Thai Tim says:

The signing ban should exist until all football clubs have been paid.

  • Dougie Bhoy says:

Sevco… I just cant laugh enough!

This says it all really.Rangers trying to loan out a player they do not fully own. This can only be driven by wages.

Parading a ‘New Signing’ when the move is ‘Dependant’on other factors relating to transfer fees. More lies from Sevco Utd. regurgitated by the fat lazy hacks of the MSM without even considering the fact that they are being played like a trumpet.

  • Captain Cornflake says:

    I’ve got to ask
Does anyone know why servco are playing in the old rangers kit?
    Seriously,how does this work?
    Same badge,crest,stars.

Surely, new club – new kit – new crest??
