Ally McCoist Rangers newsThird Division no-marks Stirling Albion hauled themselves off the bottom of the table with a 1-0 home win over Sevco.

Ally McCoist’s fun filled adventure around the country making new friends continued in the shadow of the Wallace Monument losing out to an 8th minute goal from Brian Allison.

The home side went into the match on the back of five straight defeats and without player manager Greig McDonald who was getting married.

Allison’s goal lifts Stirling into joint bottom place alongside East Stirling who pumped their local rivals 3-1 last month.

Despite the defeat Sevco remain in a play-off place with twelve points from seven matches.

In typical fashion before the match the jovial McCoist quipped: “On behalf of myself and the club, we would like to wish the happy couple a great day, a happy day and a lovely future together.

“I just hope the post-wedding celebrations are tempered ever so slightly by his team getting beat – but we do wish him all the best.

“It’s quite novel. I haven’t been involved in too many games where the manager has failed to show because of a marriage proposal.

“It is quite amusing but good luck to them. It certainly won’t impact on our attitude and we will be looking forward to the game.”

The defeat brings a halt to a three match winning run for Sevco and the unveiling of grand plans from Charles Green.

Speaking to various supporter groups Green explained how the club had a potential international fanbase of 500 million and were about to tap into the vast markets in India and China.

Talks with adidas and puma were described as being at an advanced stage for a new kit deal with a public share issue planned before the end of the year.

We should sell t shirts . “Ally mst stay”

What a dilemma! Ally sucks as a manager but says all the garbage the deluded fans want to hear so they like him.

The fact the fans like him means Master Businessman Charles Green can’t fire him. This is too good to be true!

      • GWG says:

dont know about the deluded fans liking him…
