Stewart Regan has spoken out about his admiration for Charles Green.
Two days after the SFA discovered a not proven verdict for a double disrepute charge handed to Green Regan has admitted how he ‘takes his hat off’ to his fellow Yorkshireman.
During the close season the SFA went out of their way to accommodate Sevco following the liquidation order placed on Rangers with a hush hush last minute deal providing Sevco with SFA membership.
Two days later at Brechin Green was pictured clapping during a chant from the Sevco fans about how much they hated Regan. After the match Green claimed that bigotry was the driving factor behind the SPL vote to reject the membership application of Sevco.
Following on the theme of reconciliation that has been sprouting between Ibrox and Hampden this week Regan revealed: “I’ve told Charles I’ll be happy to meet him and his chairman in the company of SFA President Campbell Ogilvie.
“Rangers are a key part of the game in this country but no club is bigger than Scottish football. We need collaboration and a willingness to rebuild the relationship between us.
“People’s perception isn’t reality which means it’s not true that we’ve ever tried to plot against Rangers or manipulate Scottish football to disadvantage them.
“I actually take my hat off to Charles for what he’s done to refocus Rangers after the period covering administration and liquidation. He brings Yorkshire grit and determination to the table and tells you what he thinks straight to your face.”
Other football officials are likely to face a ban rather than a cosy chat over tea and biscuits for telling Regan and his cronies some home truths.

Yes that’s why we’re paranoid , We know the truth just the same as the Liverpool fans were proved right on Hillsborough, we were on to the rankers cheating and cosy relationship with the powers of the game AND ref’s.

We all know things are never going to change, so don’t expect it. The one thing that has come out of this is that the whole world now know that old club which used to be called rangers were corrupt, and obviously very clearly abetted by many people in power at the sfa and referees associations.
They will never remove this fact from anywhere or anyone. They have stolen and cheated their way through the last 20+ seasons and the sfa have been exposed as having allowed it all to go on by deliberately turning a blind eye, and blatantly lying on behalf of that extinct club to uefa by not exposing their corruptions and lack of accounts before every season.
Make no mistake, there are not going to be punishments handed out to the old corrupt records and the cheating will continue. But they will never emulate us, never even come close. Hail Hail to all Tims.
