Ally McCoist Rangers newsAlly McCoist is in line for a record breaking £10m transfer warchest that could rise to £30m!

The boast came from Charles Green as he basked in the glory of the newco share issue.

Running costs seem negligible despite the upkeep required for Ibrox and Murray Park with Green and his fellow directors also picking up handsome salaries and bonus packages.

Season ticket money as well as the income from the share issue will find it’s way into the transfer kitty once the registration embargo is lifted in September 2013.

“In the presentation we did when we were selling the shares, we said that, of the £22m, £10m is put to one side for Ally,” Green told Sky Sports.

“Of course, we can’t buy players at the moment, we can’t do that until January 2014 but between now and then, we’ll also have another season’s worth of season ticket sales so the cash position will increase. We’re not saying it’s £10m and only £10m.

“If Rangers fans, as we expect, come out and buy their season tickets next year, there is perhaps another £20m there and that is a fantastic position for the manager, the club and its fans to be in.

“When we are allowed to go into the market, this club will take the right players and take the right action. This is definitely the springboard for the rebirth of Rangers.”

Despite the flood of money being made available to McCoist Green is on record as saying that players wages will be no more than 33% of total income.

Whether that promise goes the same way as earlier ones to rename Murray Park, launch a kit deal with adidas or a commercial tie up with Dallas Cowboys remains to be seen.

Keep the bullshit coming Chuckles cant believe these fools fall for this pish. theres an auld saying fool me once shame on u , fool me twice shame on me . Im studying accountancy and I know that a CVA isn’t an option when the club in administration hasn’t paid PAYE or NI and he’s a “Business Man” .
if the Sevconians want to see his form just ask a Sheffield United supporter , who he ruined there promotion chances because he sold their top 2 players half way through the season . The best has still to come .

Funny as hell! Who worth more than 50k will want to play in the Scottish 3rd Division? They aren’t winning any cups for the foreseeable future, so that means only trips to Annan, East Stirling, and Montrose…if they’re lucky.

We should be wary folks, if mr charles green says 30 mill thats what will happen. He tells it like it is that great man. And his word is his bond

  • paranoidandroid says:

I think even Ally could win the third division with £30m to spend. It seems like quite a big outlay to win the third, or possibly the second, division, though.

Mr green must be a very generous owner. Or else a ….

  • sands1888 says:

On a serious note though, i would like sally to spend every penny they can muster as he is the most useless man to spend it. This fool couldnt spot talent if his supper depended on it

saw this above , he won’t have to hide anywhere , Whyte doesn’t, there will be another Messiah along shortly and the goldfish like memory retention of the zombies can’t think past last week. Same team , same ground, same seat so surely same debenture you forked out for life before ….or is that for a different team? Horrible bastards.

Who gives a shit about a 143 day old outfit?

  • Williebhoy says:

Talk is cheap and the utter garbage about being debt free is 100% lies. We shall soon see the return of the floating charges from Ticketus / Crook Whyte then the fun will really start. Not to mention the Nimmo Smith investigation LOL.

Funny Chico doesn’t mention the £ 20m he was going to deposit way back in July…wonder why.

Quite simply, in the next 5 years Celtic will continue to stretch away from them. We must use this opportunity to go from strength to strength, push the club forward. If we really get our act together we can build a dynasty via youth / scouting that they will only be able to dream of.
