Neil Lennon has made nine changes from the Celtic side that started at Raith Rovers for today’s match with Inverness Caley Thistle.
Only Beram Kayal and Kris Commons retain their places as the hoops boss looks forward to Tuesday’s visit from Juventus.
Fraser Forster returns to the side but there is no place for James Forrest. Rami Gershon and Tom Rogic make their debuts while Marcus Fraser, Paddy McCourt and Miku return after long spells out the side.
Joe Chalmers, Bahrudin Atajic and John Herron are amongst the substitutes.
“I have Juventus in mind, and it´s the biggest game here since Gordon´s time,” Lennon explained on Friday. “It’s the biggest game of these players´ career, and my managerial career, so I don’t want to take too many chances with the game tomorrow.
“We have a cushion but that´s no guarantee you´re going to win the league and that´s not why I´m making changes. If the gap was three points I´d still do it probably and take the gamble.
“There are players here wanting to play, they know places are up for grabs for Tuesday, so if I pick them I expect the changes to be seamless. They´ve been around the club now for a year or two so I want them to make an impact when they´re playing.”
Looking at today’s opponents the Celtic boss added: “Inverness are very good to watch, they have scored a lot of goals this season and play some really good football. McKay is having a good season, so is Shinnie – they are very good footballers for their size.
“They´ve tightened up defensively and they are where they are on merit. Credit to Terry, Maurice and big Steve. They work very, very hard on a pretty limited budget and have been the surprise package of the season.
“It will be a good crowd and it will be competitive. Our record there recently has been good but tomorrow, with the changes, we will see how the players adapt. It´s an early kick-off which always causes a few problems for us.”
