Wallace: There is no threat of administration

Graham Wallace newsDeluded Graham Wallace has claimed that there is no chance of Sevco going into administration.

The heavyweight CE was drafted in by the cash strapped Third Division champions in November following quickly in the footsteps of Charlie Green and Craig Mather.

Yesterday news emerged that the Ibrox players had rejected Wallace’s plan of a 15% pay cut sparking fears among supporters that the club is heading towards administration just 18 months after being given SFA membership.

The signs look very similar to the lead up to administration for Rangers in February 2012 but Wallace remains defiant despite yesterday’s player revolt.

He told the Daily Record: “There is no threat of Administration II. Categorically.

“This simply sits alongside everything else that we are doing here right now – reviewing the business to put it on a sound footing for the future.”

Wallace added: “What I would say is that I am looking at the entire business. I’m looking at everything and as we go through it we will make some change, absolutely.

“We will build a business structurally and financially that equips us for future success. I have no doubt about that.

“The relationship I have with the manager is good. We both share a similar objective.

“We want to have a winning team, playing good football. The question is how best to do that within the financial envelope that we are operating.”

Financial wizard Brian Stockbridge told a meeting with supporters that the club would be down to it’s final £1m in April, it now seems that that prediction was wildly optimistic.

One of the original backers of Sevco, Dick Hughes sold his two million shares on Wednesday picking up a £500,000 profit while Wallace searches for ways to stem the cash flow.

As well as the chronic loss of cash Imran Ahmad and Neil Alexander are believed to be taking legal action for money due from the Ibrox club.

Well, Mr Wallace, here’s a bit of financial advice for you. Free of charge.

Try not cheating for once and only spend money that you can afford to spend- preferably your own money.

I guess that’s an alien concept for a team playing out of Ibrox, being as you think your the chosen people. But you’re no one’s chosen people and you better get used to it fast.

Gullible Gullible zombies, so the new CEO is trying to put a Sevco team on the park that can play entertaining fitba and win games all within a budget, strange how Queens of the South won the 2nd division last season on a £300,000 budget yet it took Sevco £14.5 million to win the 3rd division, Whats that saying again, ” YOU PAY PEANUTS YOU GET MONKEYS” or in Sevcos case, ” YOU PAY MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND STILL GET MONKEYS”
hail hail, TIK TOK TIK TOK

What happens when they go back into administration again.
Do they stay put in the 2nd division, get a points deduction.Or what.
Regan and co will probably change the rules again to accommidate the cheaters

    Keep the Faith
    HH

    • Morto says:

That’s why they are trying so hard to build up a lead so the points deduction still leaves them promoted. It’s underhand but still, sadly, within the rules.

    • Andybhoy says:

      O’Cahan,

Have to point out this will be their first administration. Let’s not fall into the trap of buying into or adding credence to their delusions of still being the same club.

Especially as their claims will be put to the test in the coming months as a club entering administration for the first time is docked 15 points and a club entering administration for the second time are docked 25 points. Wonder how they and the SFA will play that one?

Will they stick to the lie and accept the 25 point deduction which could potentially see them in league one for another year or will they have to drop the pretence of being the same club to ensure promotion and survival?

Enjoy the circus that is Scottish football bhoys, we are about to see it in all it’s ridiculous and duplicitous glory!

Oh what a tangled web they weave, when first they practise to deceive!

      Hail Hail

If this shambles was any other football club they would be kicked out of Scottish football by now. It is only because it is the darling of the ”establishment” that they are being treated with kid gloves. What are the SFA doing about it? Sitting on their hand and hoping beyond hope that it will all work out for the better…for Sevco f.c.

Is it not about time that the SFA were accountable to a higher body made up of local councillors and laymen for example so that they are held to account for their outrageous corruption and mismanagement in favour of ONE SINGLE CLUB!

Why are the boards of the other football clubs not up in arms about this toxic shambles being allowed a licence to play when they clearly did not meet the rules and are spending fortunes way beyond what they could afford in order to buy success just like their old DEAD club Rangers. The SFA are making a hollow mockery of Scottish football and they are getting away with it. Regan and Doncaster are the Fred Goodwins of Scottish football and its a recipe for disaster.

Where are all the supporters of FOOTBALL throughout the Scottish Leagues? Their silence is akin to gross negligence and letting such disasters happen AGAIN!!!
