Would be Sevco saviour Dave King has warned concerned fans that he fears Charles Green is still pulling the strings at Ibrox.
The big ‘anded Yorkshireman stood down as chief executive 11 months ago but has yet to sell on the bulk of his penny shares to the Easdale’s as was promised.
Green fronted up the £5.5m asset purchase from Duff & Phelps in June 2012 which brought Blue Pitch and Margarita Holdings into play as they piled into the penny shares alongside Ally McCoist and the crew from Zeus Capital.
Prior to the asset purchase Green was heavily involved with Craig Whyte and famously told the former billionaire from Motherwell ‘so you are Sevco’ in a recording released by Charlotte Fakes.
Another recording revealed how a six figure cheque from Mr Whyte was cashed by the mother of Ibrox commercial chief Imran Ahmad.
Green and Whyte are apparently in dispute over the dealings between Sevco 5088 and Sevco Scotland with King tonight warning that Green is still very much involved with the Third Division champions.
In his latest statement the glib and shameless South African based liar claims: “That the current problems can be attributed to previous management (presumably Charles Green etc). That does not explain the ongoing lack of transparency on shareholding and finances by the existing board. It is quite possible that Charles Green is still de facto controlling the club.
“Certainly the existing directors have a minuscule equity stake and yet won’t disclose the true “power behind the throne.”
King is apparently preparing to fly to Scotland to meet with ‘fan leaders’ and set up the trust fund for supporters to invest their season ticket money in- a move that Graham Wallace has warned would de-stabilise the club.
Without any sense of irony, describing the support that has backed, defended and financed Dave Murray, Craig Whyte and Charlie Green, King concluded his statement with: “Rangers fans are loyal but not stupid”.

King now wants to be part of the action again and is playing the part of the hero.
This has all the attributes of a pantomime triangle.
Seems that this is a well orchestrated shambles.

Green is merely a front man for others so of no real consequence to the main event.
If / when money gets really tight they will have no option but to agree to a lease back of the stadium which is where the real money will be made for those behind the scenes for years & years. Expect another shares issue, which will further dilute the fans shareholding in the Company.
