Warburton MarkDisrespectful Mark Warburton launched an astonishing verbal attack on Willie Collum after watching Sevco lose 2-1 at Falkirk yesterday.

With Hibs scoring a late winner at home to Queen of the South the pressure is on the former city trader when the top two meet at Ibrox in eight days time.

Collum was his usual inconsistent and distant best as he spoiled an eagerly anticipated fixture by a number of baffling decisions that left Warbo fuming.

Both sides received questionable penalty decisions with John Baird converting for the home side before Martyn Waghorn’s stoppage time effort was saved.

I don’t want to come across as a sore loser but there are some shocking decisions there,” the under pressure Ibrox chief said. “The penalty changed the game, giving our opponent something to hang onto.

“The one question from me is, why isn’t Danny Wilson sent off? If it’s a penalty and a goal scoring opportunity then why wasn’t he sent off?

“I think everyone inside the stadium saw the incident happened two or three yards outside the box.

“If you are going to make that decision less than three minutes into a game of that importance then you must get it right, be absolutely positive about what you do.

“I don’t think, very politely, it was anywhere near a penalty. I haven’t had the luxury of seeing our penalty again but at the time I didn’t believe it was a penalty incident either.”

After a dignified post match inquest good solid senior pro’s like Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace are expected to set an example with their attitude to training this week while talking up the ability of a squad that has taken eight points from their last six matches.

In the interview below Warbo told Sevco TV that the Falkirk penalty decision was appalling.

Danny Wison should have been sent off.
That was the only bad decision I saw in the first penalty.
I agree that the one at the end of the game was NOT a penalty.

Oh dear, poor Warbo getting a decision against them ( and also one for them ). The magic hat isn’t working and the pressure is starting to tell, never mind he’ll be off to Chelsea lol.

The Worlds best Cuty Trader is beginning to show some cracks now..Oh dear where’s that feckin hat

  • seldomsober says:

Methinks yir man will need to pull a magic rabbit oot the hat, thing’s are getting sticky for him never mind some big team from the juniors will want him soon.
Everything is a step up from where he is just now….

  • Joe says:

Collum grasped the opportunity to award sevco a non-penalty in added time. Collum was so excited that he failed not only to red card, even yellow card, the mystery culprit.

He even failed to as much as speak to the seemingly Deliberate” handball culprit.

You see, if it was deliberate, it was a penalty, and a red card is next. If it wasn’t deliberate, it isn’t a penalty either. Poor Willie, he shows his colours again, and will no doubt be punished for failing to get his establishment club level at least.

Who is the three card trick doing the interview, Broxy Bear perhaps? Notice the Brentford Baker, rightly annoyed about shocking penalty decision, however it was the linesman not Collum who signalled for the penalty. OK WARbo it wasn’t a penalty but the Weasel shat it by not sending Wilson off. Notice you didn’t mention that or the equally shocking penalty that Wagsie missed. BTW the same linesman fecked up a second time by flagging Baird offside. That was a perfectly good goal. All in all cracks getting bigger every week. Lose to Hibs next week and WARbo, WEIRdo and the whole team will go into free fall.

Collum is one of the worst referees I’ve had the misfortune to see and I’ve seen a few.

How is it possible that the marking system currently in place makes him the number one in Scotland and earns him a place at the Euro championships in France?

He is consistently inconsistent to say the least.

Referee marking system……well done SFA another shambles.

Will be interesting to see how the SFA pacify their pet team……surely it would be too embarrassing to sack him now that his place in France has been confirmed?

Bear in mind that a complaint from Rangers carries much more weight than one from anyone else.

James O’Hare and Kevin O ‘ Donnell will testify to that as their careers came to an abrupt halt following decisions not to the liking of the Ibrox company.

Funny how the shocking performances of McLean and Muir in last season’s semi final actually saw their star rise within the current group of Grade 1 refs.

Yes, Collum was hopeless, always has been………..Broadfoot penalty at CP a few years ago anyone?
