Barrie McKay has claimed that it wasn’t ‘Rangers’ in action against Ross County today.

Reading out of Mark Warburton’s Big Book of Excuses the wing ace is struggling to come to terms with life in the top flight against competent, full-time professionals.

With five wins, five draws and two defeats from their matches in the top flight today’s draw was hardly a surprise even though Ross County are sitting at the bottom of the table.

Despite their massive budget advantage and signing up English based stars like Clint Hill, Joe Garner and Nicky Kranjcar Sevco are being treated as just another team by the established top flight clubs.

Coming to terms with the realities of 2016 seems to be causing the Ibrox club a lot of distress with Mackay unsure who he was playing for today!

The boys in the dressing room have been saying that wasn’t us out there today,” he told the company website. “It was a sloppy performance all round. It’s up to us to make that right now.

We’re definitely disappointed as a team, especially after the first-half because we had a lot of chances on the counter and when you have those chances you need to take them.

We’re disappointed with the chances that we created that we have just drawn the game. I thought once we got the first it would go in our favour and we would get a bit more momentum, keep playing it out and keep playing the lines and getting more chances.”

Bazzer has been dropped from the Scotland squad to face England on Friday.
