Erik Sviatchenko believes that Celtic are in better shape than when they beat Sevco 1-0 in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup in October.
The scoreline was only 1-0 in favour of the hoops but in every worthwhile area of the pitch they out performed Mark Warburton’s side.
Four wins and a draw seems to have given the tribute act a blast of confidence but despite that ‘run’ they host the hoops trailing by 16 points in the SPFL table.
Sviatchenko enjoyed a low key afternoon when Celtic won at Hampden and would like a repeat on Saturday even if the atmosphere is a bit different.
ES: “We’ve been progressing and are even better [since Hampden win]. So if you take that into account the gap might be bigger.”

ES on Saturday’s match: “It’ll be my first game at Ibrox and I’ve heard the atmosphere there can be a bit tense.”

Tom Rogic is the only Celtic player missing through injury but Brendan Rodgers has a number of different options to go with.
In attack the hoops boss will have to chose between Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths with his 4-2-3-1 formation unlikely to be able to accommodate both strikers.
