Scott Sinclair has saluted Celtic skipper Scott Brown on his 400th appearance for the club.
Sinclair has turned out for half a dozen clubs before linking up with the Fifer during the summer when Brendan Rodgers brought him north of the border in a £3.5m deal.
Brown was signed in 2007 by Gordon Strachan and has stood the test of time despite changes of manager, team-mates and playing styles.
It’s hard to disagree with the fact that Brown in enjoying the best form of his career under Rodgers with a new energy and drive evident about his game.
Sinclair and Moussa Dembele have been the headline grabbing acts of this season but across the board every player speaks highly of their inspirational skipper.
At 31-years-of-age Brown is playing better than ever as he drives Celtic on chasing records on a weekly basis.
As well as making his 400th appearance against St Johnstone Brown helped his side match the Lisbon Lions record of starting the season with 26 unbeaten matches- only a fool would bet against Broony driving the hoops past that landmark by beating Hearts on Sunday.
