With their record of 33 wins and two draws from their domestic fixtures there is little that the Celtic squad has to prove.

The last six days however have seen a few questions raised about the champions elect in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw with Sevco.

None of Brendan Rodgers squad performed as poorly as Bobby Madden but unlike the match referee the Celtic players are answerable.

The Irishman is certain to make some changes to his side with Callum McGregor looking a certain starter after being presented for media duties on Thursday.

Next week’s international break will provide some respite before the run in to the season with almost all eyes on the Scottish Cup semi-final.

Getting everyone close to top form for April 23 will be the priority, with a couple of changes to the team at Dundee the message will go out across the squad that only those at their very best will be given a jersey at Hampden.

There will be no title party at Dens Park tomorrow but every match matters with the chance to make history beckoning for players that can go into the company of some of the greatest men to play for the club.
