John Brown has warned Brother Pedro ‘about the feelings that are against Rangers’ within Scottish football.

The former Dundee boss is an Ibrox Ambassador and is in contention to become the third member of Caixinha’s coaching team.

Brown has never been slow to vent his feelings, at the start of the season he claimed that Celtic had appointed Brendan Rodgers because ‘the Rangers are coming’.

A large number of Ibrox fans seem to have bought into a bizarre conspiracy relegated their club in 2012, ignoring the actions of Dave Murray, Craig Whyte and their own inability to put together a supporters consortium which could have prevented liquidation.

Appealing to that section of the support Brown told the club website: “He (Brother Pedro) wants to succeed and he needs people round about him to tell him and let him understand about Scottish football and the way the game is played, and the feelings that are against Rangers.”

With another loss announced in the unaudited accounts to 31 December 2016 season ticket money is more important than ever at Ibrox.

The pitch to sell season tickets will be more desperate than ever with nothing spared to get fans to commit up front to a company that had a notice of concern in their last audited accounts.
