Stewart Robertson has explained how he decided that Brother Pedro was the most outstanding candidate to succeed Mark Warburton.

“He is a man of great experience and authority and the Board has no doubt he will help us achieve our long-term goals. I would like to thank the Rangers supporters for their patience throughout the process but we were determined to appoint the best candidate possible.”
Tellingly there was no comment from Dave King on the appointment of a new manager.
Robbo had hoped to appoint a Director of Football but after being rejected by Ross Wilson of Southampton that idea has been shelved.
